  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:47 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Reading 0-0 Birmingham

Lewis Wing fires in an excellent effort from long range for Reading, hitting it across goal towards the far corner from about 25 yards out, but Ryan Allsop does brilliantly to dive to his right and parry it away.

  2. Postpublished at 13:44 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Reading 0-0 Birmingham

Keshi Anderson cuts infield for Blues before feeding Willum Willumsson, who plays it down the line on the right to Ethan Laird but his cross is blocked.

A nice free-flowing move by Birmingham but it comes to nothing.

  3. 'What a great goal'published at 13:43 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Morecambe 0-1 Walsall

    Paul Joannou
Walsall summariser on BBC Radio WM

He caressed it so well in at that left hand post, and it was a similar position to the one he scored at Swindon.

Really good free kick, he's such an asset from a set piece, what a great goal from Allen.

  4. Postpublished at 13:42 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Crewe 2-0 Barrow

Replays show the foul on Adrien Thibaut for Crewe's penalty was very close to being outside the 18-yard box.

Frustrating for Barrow, who certainly don't look like improving the second-worst away record in the league now.

  5. Postpublished at 13:42 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Rotherham 0-1 Barnsley

Barnsley almost double their lead as Stephen Humphrys gets on the end of a long ball and into the area but Zak Jules does brilliantly to block his effort on the slide for Rotherham.

  6. Postpublished at 13:40 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Crewe 2-0 Barrow

Connor O'Riordan and Tom Lowery both returned to Crewe on loan in January, having come through the Alex's renowned Academy setup at the start of their careers.

They are the difference makers this afternoon.

  7. goal

GOAL: Morecambe 0-1 Walsallpublished at 13:40 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Taylor Allen (53 mins)

    From bad to truly awful.

Rhys Williams dismissal wasn't the only worry for Morecambe. They also had to guard a free kick just outside the box and down to just 10 men, they couldn't make it work.

Defender Taylor Allen capitalises on Walsall's tantalising opportunity and whips his free kick right into the corner.

    Lovely stuff.

  8. goal

GOAL: Rotherham 0-1 Barnsleypublished at 13:38 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Adam Phillips pen (52 mins)

    Adam PhillipsImage source, Rex Features

Adam Phillips makes no mistake from the spot and fires it low and hard into the bottom right-hand corner, sending the keeper the wrong way.

Rotherham have started the half the better of the two sides but they find themselves behind.

Advantage Barnsley in the South Yorkshire derby!

  9. goal

GOAL Crewe 2-0 Barrowpublished at 13:38 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Tom Lowery pen (50 mins)

Tom Lowery makes no mistake from 12 yards!

The on-loan Portsmouth midfielder sends Paul Farman the wrong way, and there's daylight between these two now.

  10. PENALTY TO CREWEpublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Crewe 1-0 Barrow

Adrien Thibaut is taken out by Niall Canavan's high boot and the hosts have a chance to double their lead...

  11. PENALTY TO BARNSLEYpublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Rotherham 0-0 Barnsley

    Big chance for Barnsley now!

Davis Keillor-Dunn gets in behind and rounds Rotherham keeper Dillon Phillips who brings him down and the ref points to the spot.

  12. RED CARD TO MORECAMBEpublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Rhys Williams (50 mins)

Walsall midfielder Jamie Jellis was almost definitely driving into the box and rather than give Jellis a chance at goal, Liverpool loanee Rhys Williams takes him down and is sent marching down the tunnel for his troubles.

Jamie Stott replaces Andy Dallas as boss Derek Adams tries to troubleshoot.

  13. Postpublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Rotherham 0-0 Barnsley

Rotherham are putting the pressure on in the opening five minutes of the half here. They win another corner but it's comfortably claimed by Barnsley keeper Joe Gauci.

  14. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Morecambe 0-0 Walsall

Morecambe have begun the second half as they ended the first.

Forward Lee Angol gets a chance at a header towards goal but like most, if not all, of his chances today, it goes high.

Play then transfers over to the Walsall end but is stopped when Ellis Harrison goes tumbling in the box.

The visiting fans groan for a penalty but Harrison doesn't have many complaints of his own.

  15. Second halfpublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Reading 0-0 Birmingham

We're off and running again now between Reading and Birmingham.

  16. CLOSE!published at 13:35 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Rotherham 0-0 Barnsley

Rotherham are out the traps the quicker in this second period and onto the front foot.

Mallik Wilks flashes a curling effort from the edge of the box towards the far corner with his left foot and it goes just wide with Joe Gauci scrambling in the Barnsley goal.

  17. 'Credit to the Reading players'published at 13:33 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    HT: Reading 0-0 Birmingham

    Mick Gooding
Ex-Reading player/manager on BBC Radio Berkshire

The Birmingham fans haven't had much to cheer about and credit to the Reading players for that, it's been a decent game.

I'm sure Noel Hunt will have said that Reading needs to be at their best today, and I think they've done that which is a credit to them, I think there will be changes.

  18. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:32 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    #bbcefl

We're getting under way for the second half in three of our four League One and League Two games.

Reading and Birmingham will resume in a few minutes after a hefty chunk of stoppage time in the first half saw that go on longer.

  19. 'A great advert for League One'published at 13:30 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    HT: Reading 0-0 Birmingham

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

Really intrigued to see what Davies tweaks at half-time.

I think this is a great advert for League One.

We know Blues have the quality but it thought Reading have been excellent, Blues defensively have had to stay strong and concentrate.

With that said, Blues have to be patient and find that moment of quality, it's been a balanced game so far.

  20. Sweet 16 for Blues?published at 13:28 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    HT: Reading 0-0 Birmingham

League One table at half time in the early games on 22 February

It will be 16 games unbeaten for Birmingham if it stays like this.

Though, Blues fans will probably want to see a lot more from their side in the second period.

Chris Davies' side will move seven points clear at the top of League One as things stand.

As for Reading, they are up to eighth, while Barnsley will move into 10th unless Rotherham can grab a goal in the South Yorkshire derby.
