Great goal by Megan Bell, I'm delighted for her.

She's had to come back from a couple of injuries and it's taken a lot of hard work to get back into the team again and it's amazing to see her get on the scoresheet.

    Megan Bell (60 mins)

Northern Ireland are back in front courtesy of a fine finish from Megan Bell!

The Hearts midfielder won the ball from Melisa Hasanbegovic and drove into the area before firing over Envera Hasanbegovic and into the roof of the net.

Two clear chances and two goals for Northern Ireland, clinical.

They do say when you score, the other team go down the other end and try and score. You saw it in the likes of the Man United v Chelsea game during the week, late goals and early goals at the end and start of the half.

It's just frustrating from a Northern Ireland perspective to get yourself in front and then concede so quickly.

  6. Bosnia-Herzegovina 1-1 Northern Irelandpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 9 April

    Marija Milinković (56 mins)

An instant response from the home side!

Northern Ireland were ahead for only two minutes before Maria Aleksic threaded the ball through to Minela Gacanica and she picked out the unmarked Marija Milinkovic, who converted from close range.

That will be a big blow for Northern Ireland to concede so soon after going ahead.

Keri Halliday has been impressive on her first start and that was a perfect pass through for Wade, who finished really well into the bottom corner.

    Can Northern Ireland hang on?

Northern Ireland make the breakthrough with the first real chance of note for the away side!

Lauren Wade starts and finishes the move, exchanging passes with Keri Halliday on the left hand side, before poking past Envera Hasanbegovic with the outside of her boot to give Northern Ireland the lead.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 9 April

    Bosnia-Herzegovina 0-0 Northern Ireland

Nadene Caldwell picks up a yellow card for a foul on Bosnia captain Melisa Hasanbegovic.

The dinked delivery from the resulting free-kick almost falls for the unmarked Gloria Sliskovic, but she is unable to get on the end of it.

Bosnia have certainly started the second half the better of the two sides.

  12. 'We can beat anyone' - McCabe on facing Englandpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 9 April

    HT: Bosnia-Herzegovina 0-0 Northern Ireland

Later this evening, the Republic of Ireland face England in their second Euro 2025 qualifier at the Aviva Stadium.

Captain Katie McCabe insists that her side have the quality to produce a shock win over England in the Group A3 game in Dublin.

The Irish come into the fixture on the back of a commendable1-0 defeat by Francein Metz on Friday.

England are the reigning European champions and sit second in the world rankings, but McCabe remains unfazed.

"We're realistic, but in terms of our belief, we always believe we can go and beat anyone on our day," she said.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 9 April

    Bosnia-Herzegovina 0-0 Northern Ireland

It is goalless at half-time after a first half that was severely lacking in quality in Zenica.

Simone Magill went close for Northern Ireland, whilst Emina Ekic was thwarted by Jackie Burns at the other end.

Northern Ireland will want to get their attacking players such as Magill, Lauren Wade and Keri Halliday more involved in the second half.

    Bosnia-Herzegovina 0-0 Northern Ireland

Simone Magill takes a nice touch to get away from two defenders, but just as she shapes to shoot on the edge of the area, Marija Milinkovic gets her body in the way and draws a foul from Magill, who is clearly frustrated at her lack of involvement in this first half.

The two managers have been a complete contrast on the sidelines.

Stuart McLaren is strolling his area and giving calm instructions to his players - who he only worked with for the first time last week.

It's very akin to Tanya Oxtoby's approach.

The Bosnian head coach, Selver Hodzic, has done more running than some of his players as he bounces around his technical area, barking instructions at his team.

I would like to see more of the attacking players, the likes of Emily Wilson, get her back into the game a bit more.

You can already see the by selection, Megan Bell is on and she likes to run at players as does Wilson and Keri Halliday and her trickery.

Northern Ireland have the players on the pitch, it's just can we utilize those players, can we get the ball to them and can they make a run at the defence?

Northern Ireland have to tidy up, the last three throw-ins we have given possession of the ball away.

It's the small things that we have to think about and the girls have to get their foot on the ball.

  19. Postpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 9 April

Lauren Wade weaves her way inside the box, but is unable to pick out Simone Magill, who had made a good run.

Northern Ireland will want to get the Reading winger on the ball more as they look for an injection of creativity.

  20. Postpublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 9 April

    Bosnia-Herzegovina 0-0 Northern Ireland

Minela Gacanica blazes over the crossbar with a volley from outside the box.

It has been a frantic game so far, but one which is lacking quality in the searing heat.
