Dylan Easton scored from the penalty spot for the second week running

Dylan Easton's sixth goal of the season rescued a point for Raith Rovers as they started their Scottish Championship campaign at home to Queen's Park.

It was a tale of two penalties at Stark's Park as Michael Ruth opened the scoring for the visitors after Roddy MacGregor was fouled by Scott Brown in the 10th minute.

Striker Ruth, the summer signing from Dumbarton, took his total to three goals in five games with his second successful penalty in seven days.

Easton had also scored last week with a spot kick as he scored a hat-trick in the League Cup against Inverness Caledonian Thistle and, this time, a hand ball from Charlie Fox allowed the midfielder to equalise with 10 minutes remaining.
