Southend dropped two points in their push for a play-off place in the National League as they were held 2-2 by Woking at Roots Hall.

Harry Beautyman's equaliser ensured the visitors left with a draw after the Shrimpers had battled back from behind to lead.

Chinwike Okoli opened the scoring for Woking with a stunning volley after just five minutes but James Golding levelled before the break.

A ferocious strike from Gus Scott-Morriss, his 15th goal of the season, put Southend ahead on 64 minutes but Beautyman's solo effort four minutes later secured a point.
