Alessia Russo produced two brilliant finishes as Arsenal comfortably beat Valerenga to win their fourth Champions League game on the bounce.

Renee Slegers' side clinched progression to the quarter-finals last time out with a 1-0 victory over Juventus at the Emirates Stadium.

But they maintained their good form and winning run against their Norwegian opponents.

Former Barcelona youngster Marc Guiu caught the eye as he helped fire Chelsea into the knockout stage of the Uefa Conference League with victory against Astana in Kazakhstan.

The Blues had made the 3,600-mile trip to Almaty for the game, which was played in difficult conditions including temperatures of -11C.

But it did not stop the much-changed Chelsea line-up from securing a comfortable win, getting the job done with three first-half goals.

Rasmus Hojlund came off the bench to score twice as Manchester United fought back from a goal down to claim a vital Europa League win at Viktoria Plzen.

The result lifts Ruben Amorim's side into the top eight positions that would automatically see them qualify for the last 16 of the competition.

Hojlund has now scored five times in the competition this term and sparked a United revival after his second-half introduction.

Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur both moved a step closer to the Europa League knockout stages after they played out a captivating draw at Ibrox.

Hamza Igamane gave the hosts the lead just 81 seconds into the second half with a fine finish from James Tavernier's cross, before Dejan Kulusevski equalised for Tottenham with a low left-footed drive after a superb team move.

Both sides had chances to win a gripping contest on Glasgow's southside - none more so than when Cyriel Dessers was denied by Fraser Forster late on - but some last-ditch defending and sharp goalkeeping kept it at 1-1.

The main focus, of course, is this weekend's Premier League action. More than half of the Premier League's managers are set to speak to the media this morning and we will bring you the latest from those.
