Derek McInnes will not want to concede another before half-time.

When you look at the Killie bench there are plenty of threats up top with Bruce Anderson, Gary Mackay-Steven, Innes Cameron and last week's scorer David Watson.

Cercle Bruges are pouring forward now.

Thibo Somers gets another shot away on the edge of the box but it's blocked well by a stretching Stuart Findlay.

Another mistake in midfield almost sets up a second for Cercle.

Kilmarnock must be sharper in that key area.

Cercle Bruges 1-0 Kilmarnock (agg 2-1)

    Kilmarnock gift Cercle another chance.

Brad Lyons is the guilty party this time. Without looking, he tries to shift the ball out the right back and it's picked off by Kazeem Olaigbe.

The ex-Ross County winger skips in on his right foot but fires his shot just wide.

Kyle Vassell gets in behind the Cercle defence for the second time this evening and it almost results in a goal.

He takes a touch over the defender tracking back and flicks to Rory McKenzie, but the Killie veteran is leaning back as he takes his shot and goes well over the bar.

Killie have just gifted Cercle Bruges a goal there. A total present.

Nothing in it up to that. Both sides use of the ball had been awful. Killie have a lot of resilience, though.

Just stay in the fight and they'll get a chance or two.

Thibo Somers takes a delightful touch over the head of Brad Lyons and slices a speculative effort just wide from 20 yards.

Almost a second for the Cercle captain.

That's a tough one to take for Kilmarnock and it has stunned the huge visiting support. It's now about how they respond.

Don’t think Derek McInnes will alter his tactics just yet but the goal has certainly given the home side a lift.

  10. 'We don't fear anyone' - O'Harapublished at 19:26 British Summer Time 1 August

    St Mirren v Valur (agg 0-0) (19:45)

St Mirren captain Mark O'Hara tells BBC Scotland: "Everyone's buzzing.

"When you come in here, see the stadium filling up, it's a special feeling and hopefully we can put on a show tonight.

"I'm honoured to be in this situation, it's a privilege. I'll be doing my utmost to make it a proud performance individually and as a team and hopefully we'll have something to shout about after the game.

"We're confident. Any time we play anyone here we're confident we can beat them. We make it a fortress here.

"It was a tough game over in Iceland. It's not going to be an easy game here but we don't fear anyone and hopefully we can get a result."

Mayo's got to communicate better, even just clear Donnelly out.

But don't take anything away from the finish.

    A mess.

A simple cross into the box isn't dealt with by Lewis Mayo and Liam Donnelly. The ball falls kindly to Somers and he sweeps it past Robby McCrorie.

    A dreadful goal to concede.

    Thirty seven years.

That's how long these fans have waited for European football to return to their home. It's, of course, the first action here at the Smisa stadium.

The fans are making the most of it, and rightly so. The sun is shining a belter too, it's the perfect day for it.

I had a wee catch-up with Tony Fitzpatrick there, and we'll be speaking to him again at half-time... the grin on his face says it all.

This was his vision when others laughed.

    He's certainly the smiling now.

  14. Postpublished at 19:15 British Summer Time 1 August

Cercle Bruges 0-0 Kilmarnock (agg 1-1)

Kevin Denkey was not far away there.

The ball is played over to the striker - worth €16m on Transfermarkt, apparently - and 40 yards from goal, he smacks a half volley looping over Robby McCrorie and just wide of the upright.

That would have been a Puskas Award contender had that gone in.

  15. 'An open opening'published at 19:14 British Summer Time 1 August

Cercle Bruges 0-0 Kilmarnock (agg 1-1)

    Brian McLauchlin

The game is so open with both teams not afraid to get forward in numbers.

And there is no doubt the Kilmarnock support are out singing those fans of a Cercle persuasion!

  16. Postpublished at 19:10 British Summer Time 1 August

Cercle Bruges 0-0 Kilmarnock (agg 1-1)

It's a much higher tempo than last week, with Cercle pressing early doors.

So far Stuart Findlay and Joe Wright have repelled them, but the hosts are knocking it about nicely near the edge of the box.

    It's a little ominous...

  17. 'No nerves' in St Mirren camp - Robinsonpublished at 19:10 British Summer Time 1 August

    St Mirren v Valur (agg 0-0) (19:45)

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland: "We're not nervous, we're looking forward to it.

"I've said to the players all week we've worked very hard to get here, for those that have been associated with St Mirren for a while it's been a long time coming.

"The expectations have risen at this football club and it's solely down to the players. We have to enjoy the occasion and go and play our game.

"If you aim high you never know where you'll land.

"We created a lot of chances [in the away leg], the disappointing thing is that we didn't finish them but we're better for that game. We look a lot sharper in training, a lot more organised. If we play the same we can win the game.

"The people have waited a long time. They've deserved this night but it means nothing unless you come out with a result. It's all to play for against a very good team."

  18. Rooney makes debut as Robinson switches fourpublished at 19:06 British Summer Time 1 August

    St Mirren v Valur (agg 0-0) (19:45)

Stephen Robinson makes four changes from the side that started the first leg at Valur.

Jonah Ayunga, Roland Idowu, Shaun Rooney and Dennis Adeniran all come into the starting line-up.

Injured Caolan Boyd-Munce and Mikael Mandron drop out of the squad, while Elvis Bwomono and Oisin Smyth are named on the bench.

No Gylfi Sigurdsson for the visitors. He's out of the squad having not made the trip to Paisley.

  19. Postpublished at 19:03 British Summer Time 1 August

Cercle Bruges 0-0 Kilmarnock (agg 1-1)

    Ah, that's a chance!

Kyle Vassell bursts into the Cercle box and rolls one into the box for Marley Watkins, who basically trips on top of the ball.

On second viewing, that's a better chance than I first thought.

  20. Postpublished at 19:01 British Summer Time 1 August

Danny Armstrong launches a long throw into the Cercle box within the first minute but the hosts clear.
