This will be just the second meeting between Coventry City and Oxford United in the FA Cup, with the Sky Blues winning the other 4-0 in February 1982.
Oxford have lost five of their six away games against Coventry City in all competitions, though the exception was a 1-0 win in their last visit there in March 2019.
Coventry have been eliminated at the third round stage of the FA Cup in two of the last three seasons, including a 4-3 home loss to Wrexham last term. They’ve not gone out at this round in consecutive campaigns since 2011-12/2012-13.
Oxford are looking to reach the FA Cup fourth round for the first time since 2019-20, though they’ve won just one of their last 15 FA Cup away games against sides from a higher division than them (D5 L9).
Billy Bodin has been involved in nine goals in his last eight FA Cup appearances (8 goals, 1 assist), scoring seven times in seven games for Oxford in the competition.
