There may be no official title decider in the Championship but I still suggest you cancel your plans, folks.

First, we have a cracking Scottish Cup semi-final between Aberdeen and Celtic live on BBC One Scotland from 12:00.

We’ll also have radio and online coverage of the lower leagues, including live commentary from Tannadice on Radio Scotland where Dundee United can effectively - but not yet mathematically - clinch the Championship title by defeating Ayr United.

It’s going to be a belter of a day in the glorious world of Scottish football.

As a result of Raith Rovers’ victory tonight, Dundee United will need to wait a little longer to seal their immediate return to the Scottish Premiership.

The Championship title is still firmly in the hands of Jim Goodwin’s side, however.

A victory over Scott Brown’s Ayr United at Tannadice tomorrow afternoon will put the hosts six points ahead, as well as holding an insurmountable goal difference lead, with just two games remaining.

James Carragher and Danny Devine both hit the bar here within a matter of seconds.

Raith Rovers manager Ian Murray tells BBC Scotland: "I don't think there's any doubt that you want to go into the play-offs in good form and with a bit of confidence and a full squad. It's a great win, our second up here this season. Credit to Inverness, I thought they played well.

"Dundee United are heavy favourites to win the league - with that goal difference. This is a really hard league to win. We just need to keep the pressure on them.

"We make a good decision. It's all about decision making. It's a great flick on by Euan Murray and a great finish from Lewis Vaughan. He's always trying to be a fox in there and he's got a great way of finishing those chances. Lewis has had a remarkable season, we just have to keep him fit until the end.

"Big Kev (Dabrowski) has been remarkable for us this season. Like any young goalkeeper, he's going to have flaws in his game and make mistakes. I noticed the PFA team came out today and I don't know how the big man is not in the team. I don't know what they've been watching."

The spirit of the defenders, backed up by a sensational goalkeeping performance, has them taking all three points back down the road.

Raith Rovers goalkeeper Kevin Dabrowski tells BBC Scotland: "For us as a team, collectively, it's very important to get a win and keep a clean sheet.

"It feels really good to mark my tenth clean sheet of the season, but I have to give credit to the team because without them it would not be possible.

"(Ian Murray) was really pleased. For him personally, he's not surprised (in my performance). It's why he brought me to the club. For me, it is a first season as a number one and I'm very grateful to Raith Rovers for the opportunity."

The performance overall, I'm too sure Ian Murray will be pleased.

Inverness were by far the better side but Raith have the victory.

The goalkeeper Kevin Dabrowski had a huge part to play in that. He made four or five big saves.

Lewis Vaughan nabbed his 13th league goal of the season to pick up all three points for Raith Rovers.

Inverness knocked on the door repeatedly throughout the 90, but were consistently thwarted by Kevin Dabrowski and the woodwork.

Raith's victory ensures that the Championship title will not be settled tomorrow afternoon at Tannadice.

He finds himself in a neat position and a chance to hit the target, but he drags his shot horribly wide of the near post.
