Following Tottenham's 1-1 draw at home to Eintracht Frankfurt in their Europa League quarter-final first leg, we asked you to have your say on the match.

Normski: Under another manager who is not a one trick pony, this would have been a win. The players on the pitch are good enough to grace any Premier League team. There is something not right in the dressing room and the players are not inspired.

Oscar: A much better, more inspired performance. Why can't we get that in the Premier League? Has to do with the mentality. Really should have won the game but we'll definitely take the draw and go fight in Frankfurt.

Daniel: A disappointing result, but not due to the performance. We were the better side and hitting the bar twice and having a last minute winner saved is gutting. We're still in the tie and will need something special in Germany.

Sunny: Leggy and lacklustre for too much of the game. Put the effort in towards the end but too little too late. Frankfurt were far too comfortable for large portions of the match.

David: Too slow going forward. The game was there for the taking. Son offers nothing anymore and needs to stop being first choice.

Alex: A decent performance. Probably deserved the win but lacked a cutting edge just when it mattered. Some poor decisions from the officials robbed us of some opportunities, but there's hope for the second leg. And as we know with Spurs... It's the hope that kills us!

It was not long ago that substituting forward Son Heung-min while chasing a winner was unthinkable for Tottenham.

However, in the 87th minute against Eintracht Frankfurt, a match the club's own announcer called the "most important game of the season", the South Korea international was taken off for teenage forward Mathys Tel.

The decision by manager Ange Postecoglou was entirely justified as the 32-year-old struggled to impact the game.

From the eye test this season, Son is simply not looking as quick or as sharp as before, therefore, is unable to make runs in behind defences or shift the ball half a yard to score.

Eintracht forward Hugo Ekitike did a Son-like run and shot to open the scoring in the sixth minute before Pedro Porro equalised in the 26th minute.

But Spurs could not get the goal they deserved and Eintracht Frankfurt manager Dino Toppmoller admitted to being a bit "lucky" after the match, adding: "We had their wingers mostly under control."

Postecoglou felt the substitutes made a good impact.

There is no doubt that Son is a Spurs legend as he made his 67th appearance to match Harry Kane at the top of the charts in appearances for the club in Europe.

Yet, unlike Kane, his impact is waning as his speed deserts him.

It is now just one goal in his past 17 games, which was a penalty at home to Bournemouth, and Son no longer seems to be indispensable to Spurs.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, speaking to TNT Sports: "I can't ask any more of the lads. It was disappointing to concede the way we did, fair strike to the lad [Hugo Ekitike].

"Even before that I thought we were well in control of the game. I thought it would bare fruit in the second half and it did in every aspect but goals."

On the first goal: "Dom's [Solanke] done awfully well to hold it up, [James] Madders is really good in the box, you try and get him in those areas and then it's about attacking the near post.

"It's a great finish to be fair to him [Pedro Porro].

"For us, the biggest blow we had was conceding so early. That kind of played into their hands, I always felt we'd finish the game strong.

"On any other night we go away with a comfortable victory. We have to go there and we knew it would get decided in the second tie. If we repeat that performance we give ourselves a chance.

"I don't expect the second game to be to open, it'll be cagey affair and it'll come down to moments.

"The second leg is going to be tight for sure, it might even go to extra-time, we're going to need all the lads ready to go. The good thing is we have most of them back and healthy which is important."

This was very easily one of Tottenham's best performances for some time, but Ange Postecoglou's side will come away disappointed.

After conceding an early opener, Spurs recovered and took charge for the rest of the game - limiting Eintracht Frankfurt to zero shots on target in the second half.

It was the most unlikely of finishes from Pedro Porro that claimed the equaliser, with the Spanish right-back sweeping home a silky backheel flick.

Tottenham's more conventional shots at goal proved to be in vain.

Son Heung-min and James Maddison's curling strikes from close range were superbly stopped by Kaua Santos, who also prevented Micky van de Ven from heading home an injury-time winner with a brilliant fingertip save.

And it was the woodwork that denied Lucas Bergvall's 20-yard effort and Rodrigo Bentancur's header in the space of two minutes.

Each and every chance went missing for Spurs, who will be well aware that Eintracht have the upper hand with their hostile home crowd behind them for the second leg in Frankfurt.

Ange Postecoglou has been speaking to the media before Thursday's Europa League quarter-final first leg at home against Eintracht Frankfurt (20:00 BST).

Here are the key lines from his news conference:

• Postecoglou confirmed he has a fit squad to select from: "Everyone's good from the weekend from a physical standpoint. It's a good place to be for us. There hasn't been many occasions this season where we can say that so that's good news."

• On the feeling in the camp before the game: "We're all excited by it. Quarter-final of European competition - you're one of eight. Home game as well so we're looking forward to it."

• How big a part can the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium crowd play?: "Hugely important. Whoever is playing at home, the atmosphere makes a big impact in European football. We hope it's the same tomorrow night for us. We hope we can get the crowd going again."

• More on the importance of atmosphere: "We have had nice atmospheres at home this year. The European nights have been good and the Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool was good. We need that again tomorrow night. It's a big part of helping clubs get an advantage in what are always tight ties."

• On speculation surrounding his future: "I came to this club with a clear purpose of rejuvenating a squad that was coming to the end of a cycle. Whatever noise there is, now or in the future, that shouldn't diminish that desire. Everything in my professional life has come through a struggle."

• Postecoglou played down criticism over Mathys Tel taking a late penalty on Sunday against Southampton when Brennan Johnson was on a hat-trick: "We scored - we won. Delighted. I just think we're in that position now where even the good stuff we do is going to be turned into a glass half-empty rhetoric."

We asked you what nobody is talking about at Tottenham but should be.

Here are some of your comments:

Dan: There is actually a decent spine in the Spurs team. Guglielmo Vicario at 28 is young for a keeper. Micky van de Ven, Djed Spence, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall are all under 25 and all look very comfortable in the Premier League. We also still have (untested) Ash Phillips, Alejo Veliz, Alfie Devine and Jamie Donley so there's something for the right manager to work with. Sadly, as much as I like the bloke, Ange just tactically isn't it. Even trying to close the game out against Southampton, it nearly went wrong.

Richard: We should be talking about how good our squad of players are when all fit. We now have two decent options for all positions (except centre forward and holding midfield ). That is something Daniel Levy should be given credit for putting in place over the past couple of years along with our amazing stadium. Those demanding a new ownership and chairman should be careful what they wish for.

Yaw: The fact that we've got a double-digit positive goal difference. This season, when we've won, we've won big.

Will: I think Ben Davies deserves more recognition. He's been at the club since 2014 with over 300 appearances and has never put a foot wrong and has always been consistent, something I think is underappreciated.

Paul: Chris Davies. I think Ange has missed his input. His impressive success at Birmingham has shown what Tottenham are missing out on this season.

Robert: Has the loss of Davies to Birmingham this season had an adverse affect on Spurs? He is obviously a good manager (even though he's gone to by far the richest club in League One) but maybe he saw things tactically that Ange does not?

Two very contrasting styles. Tottenham's Ange Postecoglou was calm throughout - he would pick a spot on the edge of his box and stay there for a few minutes. There was hardly any shouting, just the occasional gesture of frustration when a pass was misplaced.

The most animated he became, maybe predictably, was when VAR got involved for a decision to wipe out a second Spurs goal that took four minutes to conclude. That was the only time he moved for any length of time, as his frustration grew.

At one stage in the delay he appeared to play a rock, paper, scissors game - highlighting the unpredictable, random nature of VAR decisions.

Southampton's Ivan Juric could not stop moving, constantly pacing up and down the line. There were only 47 seconds on the clock when he was told by fourth official Sam Barrott to get back in the area.

Juric treated the technical area as optional, spending more time out of it than in, often crouching down, repeatedly shouting instructions but all to no avail as the Saints were relegated to the Championship. Juric left the club the following day.

Tottenham have a huge Europa League quarter-final on the horizon, but their inconsistent run of results in the Premier League has continued.

Off the field, supporters have held protests against the club's owners and chairman Daniel Levy.

But is there something that is slipping under the radar? We want to know the one thing - good or bad - that nobody is currently talking about in relation to Tottenham.

Does Ange Postecoglou's playing philosophy bring out the best and worst in Guglielmo Vicario?

Last year, our spirited goalkeeper came under a lot of pressure from critics who were desperate to identify an issue with his ability to deal with corners - despite the data suggesting otherwise.

The reality is Spurs always look a better team when he plays and, even if he cannot prevent a loss, he is often the difference between a marginal defeat and abject humiliation.

His saves against Chelsea last week - one in particular earning respect and admiration from the most die-hard Chelsea fans - meant we kept the possibility of a draw within reach, even though we ultimately failed to achieve it.

On the flip side, his desire to restart play as quickly as possible - very much an integral feature of "Angeball" - can often lead to us inviting the press from the opposition before our defenders are set, resulting in us conceding possession, sometimes in very vulnerable positions.

This happened again on Sunday and, were it not for the fact that this Southampton side is so bad they have been relegated earlier than any other team in Premier League history, we would have been severely punished for giving the ball away so cheaply.

Similarly, Vicario and his defenders' insistence on playing short passes out from the back - despite scenarios where better options appear available - has led to frustration among many fans. Even if the manager is dictating a specific style of play, surely there should be room for interpretation and independent thinking by the players on the pitch?

Simply put, the negatives of Angeball - in particular, our vulnerability to counter-attacks - allow Vicario to showcase the best of his attributes, while the positives - the quick, exciting and expansive in-possession play - provide opportunities for him to reveal his shortcomings.
