Wales midfielder Ingle 'ahead of markers' for injury return

Wales manager Rhian Wilkinson says midfielder Sophie Ingle is "ahead of markers" in her comeback from a cruciate knee ligament - but is still rated as "50-50" to make the squad for Euro 2025.

Ingle, 33, has been out since suffering the injury in pre-season with Chelsea, but the 141-cap player is hopeful of being part of the side that goes to Switzerland for the first appearance at the finals of a major tournament in the team's history.
