Fishlock will 'give and do anything' for Wales - Wilkinson

Wales’ record goal scorer Jess Fishlock will “give and do anything for her country”, according to manager Rhian Wilkinson.

Fishlock remains a fitness doubt for the 2025 European Women's Championship round one play-off against Slovakia, with the first leg in Poprad on 25 October and the return at Cardiff City Stadium on 29 October.

The midfielder, 37, has been named in the Wales squad for the two-legged tie despite having not played any football since picking up an injury playing for Seattle Reign on 7 September.

But Wales boss Wilkinson is confident her star player will be ready.
