'You shouldn't have to leave Wales to have a football career'
The Football Association of Wales' Head of Domestic Leagues, Jack Sharp, says their new strategy will focus on growing the Adran Premier so Welsh players do not have to move away to have a career.
Speaking at the launch day for the 2025-26 Adran Premier season, Sharp said they expect to see an "boom and interest" in the women's game following Wales' involvement in Euro 2025.
Sharp says keeping talent in Wales will "sit at the forefront of our decisions" when developing their latest strategy.
