    The end of the track is where you’ll find general admission fans clamouring to find a decent spot on the sand dunes. There’s also a lot of neck craning to see through the metal barriers. If you're under six foot, good luck trying to see the action.

    The rain briefly made an appearance before the session started but, thankfully, it’s now turned dry. For now…

    Lance Stroll climbed out of the car without any issues and it has rapidly been cleared off the circuit and the debris picked up.

    It looks like he's hit the barrier quite early on in the corner for the nature of what Turn Three is. A lock-up on the entry and the front left has unloaded.

    Charles Leclerc isn't happy at Yuki Tsunoda for not giving him the space to pass.

    Meanwhile, we've had our first driver into the gravel after a few had trips there in FP1. It is Alex Albon who goes off and has to tiptoe off the gravel and back onto the track.

    A 1:11.294 for Lando Norris as the times continue to tumble and he tops the timesheet once more.

    Kimi Antonelli is out on track and will want to get as much time on it as possible after getting stuck in the gravel in first practice.

    Carlos Sainz improves to briefly go top before Fernando Alonso clocks 1:12.131 to move into P1. A good time given he had to negotiate some traffic.

    A few times coming in now as Lando Norris goes quickest with 1:12.615 on mediums.

    Carlos Sainz is second quickest, about eight tenths slower but he's on hard tyres.
