Football League Division Three: Cavan 1-12 Fermanagh 0-11

Cavan proved too strong for Fermanagh in the delayed Division Three Ulster derby at Breffni Park.
Cavan led 0-10 to 0-4 at the interval thanks to points from Eugene Keating (5), Martin Reilly (3) and David Givney (2) to four points from Tomas Corrigan.
Fermanagh duo Niall Cassidy and Ryan McCluskey received black cards after the break while Fergal Flanagan scored the only goal late in the game.
Corrigan ended with seven points, with Keating accumulating six for Cavan.
Eamon Maguire contributed a couple of points, with debutant Lee Cullen and Ryan Jones also getting on the scoresheet for the Ernemen.
Cavan went into the game boosted by their run to the McKenna Cup final, while new Fermanagh boss Peter McGrath had to plan without 18 players who were part of the county panel last year.
Terry Hyland's side led throughout, although Fermanagh rallied somewhat in the second half despite having Cassidy and McCluskey black-carded.
Flanagan took advantage of a short back-pass from Eoin Donnelly to find the net for the home side.
The match had been scheduled for Saturday night but was re-scheduled for 19 hours later because the heavy rain had caused the pitch to be waterlogged.
