Slaughtneil hope injured forward Christopher Bradley will recover to make the substitute's bench in the All-Ireland club final against Corofin.

Bradley sustained a broken collarbone in the dying minutes of the semi-final victory over Austin Stacks.

He is using an oxygen chamber twice a week in a bid to get fit for the St Patrick's Day decider at Croke Park.

"The only possibility is for him to come on as a sub," said Slaughtneil assistant manager Joe Kearney.

He added: "Although he's getting the best attention there is to make it better, it would be a big risk to start him.

"He will certainly be on the bench - according to how the game is going and if he is needed in the latter stages, we may have to take the chance of bringing him on."
