Football League Division One: Derry ring changes for Tyrone

Eoin Bradley came on as a substitute in Derry's opening defeats by Donegal and Kerry

Eoin Bradley's inclusion at full-forward is one of eight Derry changes from the defeat by Kerry for Saturday evening's Football League Division One game against unchanged Tyrone.

Bradley will start at full-forward while Barry McGoldrick and Daniel McKinless are also named in the attack.

With Mark Lynch suspended after his red card against Kerry, Brian Og McGilligan will partner Mark Craig at midfield.

Keeper Eoin McNicholl returns with Dermot McBride and Brian Og McAlary.

McNicholl takes over from Thomas Mallon in attack with Gerard O'Kane's temporary withdrawal from the panel offset by McBride's availability after he missed the opening defeats by Donegal and the Kingdom.

With Ciaran McFaul rested for the game ahead of his upcoming involvement with Derry Under-21s, Carlus McWilliams is handed the right half-forward shirt.

Like McBride, Fergal Doherty and James Kielt are available again after missing the opening two games but they have to be content with places on the bench.

Tyrone, meanwhile, have named the same team which defeated Mayo for the Healy Park game.

Manager Mickey Harte's selection means that Mattie Donnelly's switch from defence to attack is set to continue.

Harte tried a similar experiment in the early part of last season, but later decided that Donnelly's defensive qualities were indispensable.

Now it appears the Red Hands boss considers the versatile Trillick man as an essential asset up front.

Donnelly started the current campaign at centre back, where he was named for the last game against Mayo, but actually played at centre forward.

Now he looks set for an extended run on the forty, thanks to the return to fitness of former All-Star Justin McMahon, who will wear the number six shirt for the Ulster derby.

Newcomer Cathal McShane holds onto his position at corner forward, after making his league debut in the win over Mayo at Castlebar.

Another member of the Under-21 team, exciting attacker Mark Bradley, is included in the senior match-day squad for the first time, and could make an appearance off the bench.

A win for Tyrone would plunge the pointless Oak Leafers into a relegation dogfight.

Monaghan have named an unchanged team for Sunday's Division One game against Mayo in Castlebar.

Malachy O'Rourke's side were edged out 2-14 to 1-16 by Cork in their previous game at Castleblayney.

Mayo have made five changes from the home defeat by Tyrone with Tom Cunniffe and Ulster University student Cillian O'Connor handed their first starts of this year's league.

Cunniffe replaces Michael Hall at corner-back with Alan Freeman making way for O'Connor at full-forward.

Robbie Hennelly, Patrick Durcan and Seamus O'Shea replace David Clarke, Colm Boyle and the injured Mickey Conroy.

Donegal manager Rory Gallagher has named an unchanged starting line-up from the defeat by Dublin for Sunday's game against Cork at Ballyshannon.

Anthony Thompson is named in the substitutes after rejoining the squad.

Thompson is currently working in England but plans to travel home for the remaining League games.

Cork manager Brian Cuthbert has made four changes from the win over Monaghan with Michael Shields, Jamie O'Sullivan, Fintann Good, Kevin O'Driscoll takes over from Conor Dorman and Paul Kerrigan plus injured duo Brian O'Driscoll and Ian Maguire.
