The Ulster Under-21 quarter-final between Armagh and Antrim on Wednesday night was called off after a floodlight failure at the Athletic Grounds.

The lights went out five minutes before the scheduled throw-in and the match will now be played in Armagh on Sunday.

Elsewhere, Donegal clinched a 1-7 to 0-9 win at Ballybofey against a Cavan side going for a fifth straight title.

Tyrone enjoyed a 0-17 to 0-7 victory over Fermanagh while Monaghan were 0-15 to 1-8 winners against Derry.

Despite attempts by engineers to get the generator working in Armagh, the lights never came back on and a final decision to postpone the match was made at 20:40 GMT.

The game has been rearranged for the Athletic Grounds on Sunday (14:00) with the Ulster Council confirming there will be free admission.

Ryan McHugh's last-gasp goal gave Donegal victory over outgoing champions Cavan in what was a repeat of the last two U21 deciders.

Donegal went in 0-5 to 0-4 ahead at half-time but the hosts were trailing until McHugh, who also missed a penalty, hit the net in the dying seconds of added time.

Tyrone cruised to victory over Fermanagh at Healy Park with Mark Kavanagh's four points helping the Reds Hands to a 0-9 to 0-2 advantage at the interval.

Cathal McShane slotted over three times in the second as Tyrone secured a place in the semi-finals.

Derry led Monaghan 1-5 to 0-7 at the break in Iniskeen thanks to a Niall Loughlin goal.

However, the Oak Leafers had Neill McNicholl sent-off in the first half and Monaghan eased to a four-point victory.
