Ulster champions Monaghan are in line to meet Tyrone on 8 August in a repeat of the 2013 All-Ireland quarter-final if Donegal beat Galway on 1 August.

Given the new qualifiers structure this year, the shape of the draw is already ordained to a large extent.

If Donegal beat Galway, Tyrone will face Monaghan in the All-Ireland quarter-finals providing the Red Hands manage to get past Sligo.

However, Galway could also face Monaghan if the Tribesmen beat Donegal.

If Galway beat Donegal, there will be a draw to decide Monaghan's and Mayo's opponents in the quarter-finals, with Tyrone and Sligo also in that half.

Tyrone cannot meet Donegal in the quarter-finals because of their previous clash in Ulster this year while Mayo can also not face Sligo at the last-eight stage following their Connacht Final encounter last weekend.

Victory for Fermanagh against Westmeath at Croke Park this Saturday will set-up an All-Ireland quarter-final against either All-Ireland champions Kerry or 2013 Sam Maguire Cup winners Dublin on 2 August.

Fermanagh's opposition will definitely be Kerry if Cork defeat Kildare on Saturday evening but a Lilywhites victory will mean that the Ernemen can also face All-Ireland favourites Dublin in the last eight.

After beating Donegal in the 2013 Ulster Final, Monaghan were beaten 0-14 to 0-12 by Tyrone in the All-Ireland quarter-finals in a game which is also remembered for an infamous 'professional' foul by Sean Cavanagh on Monaghan attacker Conor McManus.
