Jimmy Walker claimed his third win of the PGA Tour season with victory at the AT&T National Pro-Am at Pebble Beach.

The American started the final round on 13 under, six shots clear of the field, but he needed a five-foot par-putt on the last to win by one on 11 under.

Dustin Johnson (66) and Jim Renner (67) tied for second after leading the chase - both holing three birdies in their final five holes to get to 10 under.

Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell ended five off the lead on six under.

"It was good TV wasn't it?" joked Walker, who had four bogeys on the back nine, including the 17th where he three-putted.

And on the last, he he missed the fairway with his drive before racing a birdie putt five feet past the hole.

However, he sank the putt coming back to avoid a three-way play-off and follow his previous successes at the Sony Open in Hawaii and the Frys.com Open in California.
