Denmark's Thomas Bjorn has pulled out of next week's US Open through injury.
The 43-year-old has been suffering with neck and shoulder problems and American amateur Andrew Dorn has taken his spot for the tournament at Pinehurst.
South African Richard Sterne, 32, has also withdrawn from the competition with an undisclosed injury and been replaced by American Scott Langley.
Tiger Woods has already announced he would not participate as he continues to recover from back surgery.
Bjorn, who blew a five-shot lead in the final round of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth last month, is ranked number 23 in the world while Sterne currently occupies 59th spot.
