Marc Warren completed his fourth and final round at the US PGA Championship in one-over par 73, leaving him on one under for the tournament.

One over at the turn, the sole Scot to make the cut carded a triple-bogey eight at the 563-yard 11th hole at Whistling Straits, Wisconsin.

But birdies at the 10th, 14th and 16th meant the 34-year-old Glaswegian came home in level par for the back nine.

However, Warren was more than 40 places adrift of the leaders.

Having teed off three-and-a-half hours before the final group, he was in the clubhouse as the main contenders - Australia's Jason Day, Branden Grace of South Africa, England's Justin Rose and Jordan Spieth of the United States - slugged it out for the trophy.
