Australia's Sarah Jane Smith leads the US Women's Open by three strokes after two rounds at Shoal Creek in Alabama.
"Dangerous weather" curtailed play on Friday with some players finishing off second rounds on Saturday morning.
Smith was among those who finished on Friday, carding a second consecutive five-under-par 67 to move to 10 under.
Thailand's Ariya Jutanugarn shot 70 to move to seven under, one clear of Su-Hyun Oh (68), while England's Jodie Ewart Shadoff (71) is on one under.
Ewart Shadoff is one of three English players to make the cut, which came at four over. Charley Hull (73) is at three over, while Georgia Hall (76) made it on the mark.
However, Scotland's Catriona Matthew (75) will miss the final two rounds, along with Becky Morgan of Wales (73) and England's Mel Reid (79) with all three finishing on five over.
England's Sophie Walker (78) and Northern Ireland amateur Olivia Mehaffey (77) missed out on six over and nine over respectively.
South Korea's world number one Inbee Park and American Michelle Wie, both former winners of the tournament, are among a group of eight on three under, while two-time major champion Lydia Ko is at four over.
Round three will get under way on Saturday.
