Great Britain finished fourth in the inaugural men's FIH Pro League after losing 5-3 to hosts Netherlands in the third-place match.

Australia, who finished top of the table after the group stages and beat Great Britain 6-1 in the semi-finals, edged a tight final 3-2 against Belgium.

The Pro League has seen eight of the world's top teams face each other home and away, with the top four advancing to the finals in Amsterdam.

The competition, which started in January, has replaced the Hockey World League and serves as qualification for the World Cup and Olympics.
