Ireland head coach Gareth Grundie has named a 23-player squad for the team's FIH Hockey Pro League debut in Dublin next month.

The Irish earned promotion to the league after securing back-to-back medals in the Hockey Nations Cup.

Sarah Hawkshaw retains the captaincy having replaced Katie Mullan in the role at the end of 2024. Mullan will reach 250 senior caps if she plays in all four games.

Goalkeepers Elizabeth Murphy and Holly Micklem maintain their place, while there is plenty of experience in defence with Roisin Upton, Hannah McLoughlin, Ellen Curran and Sarah McAuley all named.

Mia Jennings is also named in the squad and is expected to make her senior international debut in Dublin, with Jessica McMaster also returning to the squad and set to make her first appearance in a major competition at senior level.
