I'll Have Another surprised a competitive field to win the 138th running of the Kentucky Derby.
The Doug O'Neill-trained horse, a 15-1 shot, moved ahead of a tiring Bodemeister down the stretch to win by one and a half lengths on Saturday.
"He's an amazing horse," said jockey Mario Gutierrez, who has ridden the colt three times.
"I kept telling everybody, from the first time I met him, I knew he was the one. I knew he was good."
Bodemeister, trained by three-time Derby winner Bob Baffert, was second while Dullahan was a neck back in third.
