Newbury: Pacher Du Polder seals Paul Nicholls four-timer

Pacher Du Polder won the Greatwood Gold Cup at Newbury to seal a Saturday four-timer for trainer Paul Nicholls.
The 18-1 chance, ridden by Ryan Mahon, completed a Nicholls double at the Berkshire course after the victory of Michel Le Bon in the veterans' chase.
At Doncaster, Ruby Walsh was aboard two more winners for the champion trainer's stable - Toubab and Aaim to Prosper.
Henry Daly's Quentin Collonges is bound for the Scottish National after winning the William Hill Grimthorpe Chase.
The victories were a boost for Somerset-based Nicholls ahead of next month's Cheltenham Festival where his battle with rival Nicky Henderson to retain the trainers' championship will continue.
Speaking from Doncaster, Nicholls said he was not completely taken aback by Pacher Du Polder's Newbury win.
"We've always knew he wanted better ground as he showed how good he could be on it when winning at Ayr last year," he said.
"He ran a shocker when I fancied him in the Old Roan at Aintree and he obviously has his going days. I told Ryan if he was having a going day, to be very positive.
"He won't be going to Cheltenham, but he might go to Ayr or Aintree."
