Cheltenham Festival 2015: BBC coverage and schedule

All 28 races at the 2015 Cheltenham Festival will be live on BBC Radio.

There will be 12 hours of coverage on 5 live, and another six on 5 live sports extra, of the big jump race meeting from 10 to 13 March.

Pundits include ex-champions Peter Scudamore and John Francome, and riders Andrew Thornton and Lizzie Kelly.

The 19-time champion jockey AP McCoy will be a contributor before racing, and will feature in a special show on his 10 favourite horses on 5 March.

Coverage of the Festival will be on 5 live from 13:00-16:00 GMT, and sports extra from 16:00-17:30 GMT, each day with trainer Caroline Bailey also contributing.

The BBC team

John Inverdale presents all four days from Cheltenham alongside BBC racing correspondent Cornelius Lysaght. John Hunt leads the commentary on all the races alongside former jump jockey Luke Harvey.

Derek Thompson returns as trackside reporter along with Helen Skelton as roving reporter.

"We'll once again take audiences into the heart of the Cheltenham Festival, not just the races but all the excitement, atmosphere and interviews throughout the week with more coverage than ever before," said BBC head of radio sport Richard Burgess.

McCoy is riding at Cheltenham for the last time and will count down his top horses in a special show at 20:00 on Thursday, 5 March. He will join 5 live on each day of the Festival with updates on his rides and all the insight from the track.

The BBC Sport website will bring all the build-up plus news, interviews and the buzz of the course, including photos into Sportsday Live. There will be reports on the main races, plus results, reaction and analysis.

Cornelius, external and Frank Keogh, external will be posting updates on Twitter from Cheltenham throughout the week.
