1. Limerick Lace wins!published at 16:56 Greenwich Mean Time 15 March

She's held on! A gliding run and a gutsy finish sees Limerick Lace through to the line.

Dinoblue can't continue her surge in the final furlong, coming up agonisingly short.

The green and gold silks of Keith Donoghue and Mark Walsh symbolise one thing: they're both owned by JP McManus.

Limerick Lace is leading going into the last... she's over nicely. Dinoblue is coming through behind. This is going to be a tight one...

Someone give the camera lens a clean please? Ah, that's better.

Now we can see Instit and Marsh Wren are doing the early running in filthy conditions in the Cotswolds hills.

Allegorie De Vassy, trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by Paul Townend will hope to go one better that last year when she finished second to Impervious.

But Limerick Lace, trained by Gavin Cromwell and the mount of Keith Donoghue has looked impressive this season and heads the market.

She is in her second season over fences and finished second to the boys at Navan in November before a win in Doncaster in December.

I have tears in my eyes. Fiona Needham trains this horse 10 minutes away from me in North Yorkshire. She rode the winner 22 years ago in this race for her dad Robin.

This horse had a bad preparation last year and never made it to the Festival. She doesn't want to hit the front too soon and had to pop the last and was the last one to play his cards. She didn't do a lot when she got to the front.

This is a great northern success from a very small yard. For John to come here on the big stage, it means so much.

Fiona is clerk of the course at Catterick and deserves this so much.

    Yorkshire! Yorkshire!

John Dawson's excellent use of 'chuffed' gives away the background of Sine Nomine's connections.

Trainer Fiona Needham, whose yard is in Catterick, has clinched a remarkable double in the Hunters' Chase - she rode Last option to victory in the 2002 race.
