It takes a 'special horse' to win Welsh Grand National

Cardiff-based racehorse trainer Sam Thomas says it takes a "special horse" to win the Welsh Grand National.

The Gold Cup-winning jockey has two entrants in Friday's race at Chepstow, a young horse in Jubilee Express and the 2021 winner Iwilldoit, both owned by Dai Walters.

Thomas says he would love to win it again and hopes both horses "come back safe".
