Belfast Giants maintained their impressive Challenge Cup form as they earned a 5-1 victory over Braehead Clan at the SSE Arena on Saturday night.

Goals from Blair Riley and Chris Higgins left Belfast 2-0 ahead after the opening period.

Matt Beka replied for Braehead only for in-form Mike Forney and Mark Garside to net again for Belfast before the end of the second period.

Chris Higgins hit his second goal of the night in the final period.

Belfast will be back in action on Sunday evening when they face Sheffield Steelers away in the Elite League (17:00 BST).
