    Ian HollowayImage source, Getty Images

How has your club fared in the transfer market? "Holloway has been busy over the summer and fans are happy with the players that have moved to the Den. Defender Byron Webster arrives after doing well for Yeovil and former Everton forward Magaye Gueye might find the Championship more to his liking than the Premier League."

How do you expect your team to do this season? "Tenth. Having finished the season so strongly, I fancy the Lions to continue with their positive momentum. Manager Ian Holloway is talking the talk and believes his side can push for a play-off spot. I feel a top ten finish would represent a good season for Millwall."

Who is your club's player to watch? "The news that goalkeeper David Forde had signed a new contract was greeted with a huge cheer by Millwall supporters. The popular Irishman has already enjoyed six good years with the Lions and most fans are happy that he has extended his spell."

  10. Pellegrini defends City transferspublished at 13:39 British Summer Time 8 August 2014

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini insists the club's summer deals for Frank Lampard and Bacary Sagna were conducted correctly, in response to recent comments from Arsene Wenger.

"I think as managers we have enough problems with our own teams to be talking about other teams," he says.

"The only thing I can say is that we have important restrictions about the amount of money we can spend, and Frank Lampard was a free player."

How has your club fared in the transfer market? "Middlesbrough have done OK so far but are still a way from being finished. Adam Clayton is about to arrive from Huddersfield and will join Kike, James Husband, Tomas Mejias and Emilio Nsue as new signings, while Kenneth Omeruo has rejoined on loan for the season from Chelsea. Aitor Karanka is still searching for a new right-back, where Boro look worryingly short right now, as well as another striker, with Chelsea's Patrick Bamford high on his wanted list."

How do you expect your team to do this season? "It's always hard to make judgements before the end of the transfer window, but there's cautious optimism about Boro's prospects this season. Karanka has had a full summer in charge and is shaping the squad in his image. Boro haven't made the play-offs since being relegated in 2009 and the fans are due some excitement."

Who is your club's player to watch? "Kike. Aitor Karanka's favoured 4-2-3-1 formation means the man at the top of it has to be the business. Boro are convinced he's the right man for the job."

How has your club fared in the transfer market? "The most significant move has been out of Elland Road - top scorer Ross McCormack to Fulham. Coming in, new owner Massimo Cellino has purchased some interesting players from Italy. Time will tell how they do in England."

How do you expect your team to do this season? "A new owner, first-team coach and lots of foreign players means no-one can predict just yet. It means Leeds fans are hopeful but nervous going into the season."

Who is your club's player to watch? "Matt Smith scored 13 goals in his first season in the Championship. He's now been given the number nine shirt and the pressure will be on him to score more now McCormack has left."

Ipswich manager Mick McCarthyImage source, Getty Images

How has your club fared in the transfer market? "After losing left-back Aaron Cresswell to West Ham, Mick McCarthy recruited Crystal Palace's Jonathan Parr as a direct replacement, while Alex Henshall and Cameron Stewart will hopefully add some much needed pace down the flanks."

How do you expect your team to do this season? "It would be crazy to rule Ipswich out of the play-offs given Mick McCarthy's pedigree and the hard working, well organised nature of his sides, however I feel a lack of goals and creative force in central midfield will see them fall just short."

Who is your club's player to watch? "Although he's missed the vast majority of pre-season through injury I have to go with David McGoldrick yet again…a very clever player who not only scores goals, but creates them as well."
