    The Championship club are currently under a transfer embargo for breaching FFP regulations.

    Real Madrid have won the race to sign Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard, according to the Daily Star, external.

    The paper says the 16-year-old, who has attracted interest from all of Europe's top clubs, including Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool, flew to Madrid on a private jet to sign for the Champions League holders.

    Former world-record holder Wilson Kipsang will defend his London Marathon title against fellow Kenyan Dennis Kimetto, the man who made history last year when he broke Kipsang's record in Berlin to become the first man ever to run 26.2 miles in less than two hours three minutes.

    Paris Saint-Germain are weighing up a bid for Liverpool frontman Mario Balotelli, claims the Daily Express, external.

    "The French giants have trained their sights on making a marquee signing, with Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi's futures at the Parc des Princes shrouded in doubt," reports the paper.

    Balotelli has scored one goal in 17 appearances for Liverpool since joining for £16m in August.

    Plymouth Albion's chairman Graham Stirling claims the Championship is unsustainable unless the Rugby Football Union increases its funding to clubs.

    Albion will go into administration next week unless they can find £250,000 to see them through until the summer.

    Championship clubs currently receive £380,000 a year from the RFU.

    "It's really inadequate to fully support a professional side in the second tier," Stirling told BBC Sport.
