It reckons Liverpool are in "pole position" to sign Manchester City's James Milner at the end of the season, with Brendan Rodgers identifying the Blues utility man as a replacement for LA Galaxy-bound Steven Gerrard.

  2. The timetablepublished at 08:04 Greenwich Mean Time 8 January 2015

There are loads of juicy transfer stories to bring you this morning, but first - because we know you like to plan your day - here's a rundown of which Premier League managers are speaking and when.

Everton's Roberto Martinez is first to face the media at 09:00 GMT (expect plenty of questions about the future of Manchester City target Ross Barkley), followed by QPR's Harry Redknapp at 09:45.

There's a news conference at Newcastle at 13:00 - which should be interesting, for obvious post-Alan Pardew reasons - followed by Burnley (13:15), Aston Villa (13:30), Crystal Palace (14:00) and Swansea (14:00).

As always, we'll bring you the best of what's said as it happens.
