    "We'll try and get forward at every opportunity," says Parkinson.

    Southampton and Italy striker Dani Osvaldo joins Boca Juniors on loan until the end of June.

    The 29-year-old joined from Roma for £15m in 2013, but played just 13 games before being suspended after a training ground fight with Jose Fonte.

    Osvaldo joined Juventus on loan in the wake of the incident and had another loan spell in Serie A with Inter Milan this season.

    Former England skipper Michael Vaughan says Geoffrey Boycott is wrong to pick fault with England's World Cup captain Eoin Morgan in the way he has.

    Boycott said Morgan was not "as good as he thinks he is" and "not so clever" against top-class bowling.

    It's certainly never dull at Blackpool Football Club.

    A season when the team has been bottom of the Championship since pretty much day one, has also been notable for events off the pitch - with the owners, the Oyston family, taking legal action against various fans for comments made on social media.

    Today fan Tim Fielding, a director of a personal injuries law firm, has apologised to Blackpool FC's owner Owen Oyston and chairman Karl Oyston after being sued for defamation by the Oystons.

    Mr Fielding posted his apology on Facebook, saying he withdrew his allegations "unreservedly".

    Samir Nasri has a cheeky dig at Manchester City's title rivals Chelsea in today's Manchester Evening News,, external saying Jose Mourinho's side are "nothing special".

    "I'm a big fan of Mourinho, but I am not impressed with his team, not at all," says City midfielder Nasri. "When I have seen some of their games, I don't think they are that fantastic - they are just strong, and have a good striker up front."

He has scored considerably more goals than fellow forwards Daniel Sturridge and Wayne Rooney this season. His last goal was two days ago, compared to 13 for Sturridge, who has been injured for the much of the season, and 49 for Rooney, who has been playing more in midfield.

    New Zealand lost wickets regularly and were 104 all out with Anya Shrubsole taking four for 36.

    The tourists lost the first match by 67 runs on Wednesday, making Sunday's match at the same venue a decider.

    Stoke boss Mark Hughes hails the "class" of Frank Lampard after the Manchester City midfielder swapped shirts with Potters teenager Oliver Shenton this week.

    Shenton, 17, made his Premier League debut as a late substitute in Wednesday night's 4-1 loss to Manchester City at the Britannia Stadium only two days after his mother's funeral. City midfielder Lampard, who lost his own mother in 2008, sought out fellow midfielder Shenton after the game to have a chat and trade shirts.

    "That is a great touch," says Hughes. "Obviously Frank has lost close family members as well and maybe that resonated with Frank. I think that shows his class."

    Seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry will not be returning to the professional tour in order to try and qualify for this year's tournament - but has not ruled out doing so in the future.

    The Premier League assistant referee, who has been absent with a thigh injury this season, is set to give birth in August.

    The 29-year-old will continue to attend briefings and meetings in order to stay up to date with the latest developments in the game with a view to returning to the fold in due course.

    Lambert was dismissed on Wednesday after Villa slipped into the Premier League relegation zone.

    "Paul was just not bringing the team together," Krulak told the Sun, external. "There was this intensely strong feeling, not least from the players and fans, that Villa should be doing a lot better."

    Barcelona and Real Madrid's top players could move to England in the wake of the Premier League's new television rights deal, La Liga president Javier Tebas has warned Spain's leading clubs.

    Sky and BT Sport have paid a record £5.136bn for live Premier League TV rights for three seasons from 2016-17.

    Tebas said Real Madrid and Barcelona's superstars could now leave Spain.

    "Well yes I think so. We have a serious problem, and we won't be the best league in a year," Tebas said.

    Conference side Southport have cancelled the loan agreement to sign Accrington striker James Gray after just one training session.

    The 22-year-old Northern Ireland Under-21 international had agreed a move until the end of the season.

    "After shaking hands on it, James contacted me raising doubts about the move," said Southport boss Paul Carden. "Therefore it is best James stays at Accrington where he's not playing."
