    Hull forward Dame N'Doye is expected to start against Sunderland after being rested at the weekend.

    Strike partner Nikica Jelavic should overcome a swollen knee but Robbie Brady could miss the remainder of the season because of a calf injury.

    Sunderland will have defender Wes Brown available after successfully appealing against his red card at Old Trafford.

    Jack Rodwell, Ricky Alvarez and Billy Jones are all thought to be fit to return from injuries.

    Aston Villa's Ron Vlaar has completed a ban but is "touch and go" to face West Brom because of a calf injury.

    Kieran Richardson and Aly Cissokho remain unavailable so Matt Lowton could again deputise at left-back.

    West Brom boss Tony Pulis has fitness concerns over Saido Berahino and Brown Ideye, who both limped off against Southampton on Saturday with respective foot and knee injuries.

    Fellow striker Victor Anichebe remains sidelined by a groin problem.

    Violinist Vanessa-Mae will attempt to overturn her four-year skiing ban at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Switzerland on Tuesday.

    The International Ski Federation (FIS) imposed the sanction in November for her role in "manipulating" results to qualify for the Sochi Winter Olympics.

    Sunderland midfielder Adam Johnson has been suspended by the club after being arrested on suspicion of sexual activity with a 15-year-old.

    A club statement said: "Sunderland AFC has confirmed that Adam Johnson has been suspended from the club, pending the outcome of a police investigation. No further comment will be made at the present time."

    Former Formula 1 driver Max Chilton will compete in this year's Le Mans 24-Hour race in June.

    The Briton, who raced for two years in F1 with Marussia, will drive for Nissan at the World Endurance Championship opener at Silverstone on 12 April.

    Welsh cycling will have its first professional team next year with the ultimate goal of having riders competing at the Tour de France.

    The 'We are Wales' (WAW) Pro Cycling Team was launched in Cardiff today and plans to represent the country on the professional circuit throughout Europe.

    Welsh cycling has had some exciting times in recent years with Olympic champions Nicole Cooke and Geraint Thomas (pictured) enjoying huge success on the track and the road.

    Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak has been charged with violent conduct by the FA after appearing to elbow West Ham's Diafra Sakho.

    Jedinak, 30, looked to catch Sakho near the end of the game as Palace won at Upton Park on Saturday.

    The incident was not seen by the match officials but caught on video, allowing the FA to take retrospective action.

    Jedinak has until 18:00 GMT on Tuesday to respond to the charge.

    Liverpool have recorded a profit for the first time in seven years.

    Figures released for the financial year ended 31 May 2014 show the club made a pre-tax profit of £0.9m, which is a considerable improvement on the £49.8m loss of the previous year.

    The figures underline the progress the club have made since their takeover by Fenway Sports Group's and Boston Red Sox boss John W Henry in 2010.

    Irish golfer Padraig Harrington beat Daniel Berger in a play-off to win the Honda Classic - his first victory in the US or Europe for seven years.

    The 43-year-old saw off the US rookie after the pair were tied at six under in a dramatic rain-delayed tournament.

    Three-time major winner Harrington double bogeyed the 17th in his fourth round but sunk a 15-foot putt on 18.

    And 119 starts after he won the 2008 US PGA title, the Dubliner clinched victory on the second deciding hole.
