Martin Austin: Charlton get a lot of my money these days. Next month I am going with a mate and our three kids - it's costing £54.50 between us. Unsurprisingly they tend to get a crowds of over 15,000 while Millwall up the road get nearer 10,000. I priced up the game at the Den the following week and it was £84. A perfect example of sensible pricing and clever marketing as I'm sure we'll have a pint, the kids a lemonade and a programme. I get impression that about 30% of people at the Valley are a bit like us; they go because it's affordable and family friendly, even if they don't support the club.
