    Crolla suffered a fractured skull and broken ankle when he was struck by a concrete slab after chasing burglars he had spotted leaving a neighbours' home.

    The win was Lancashire's seventh in their last 10 Championship games against Leicestershire, who are still searching for their first Championship victory since 2012.

    England's Melissa Reid led from start to finish to secure her fifth Ladies European Tour title at the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open on Wednesday.

    Reid carded a closing 73 at Carya Golf Club in Belek to finish 11 under par, four shots ahead of France's Gwladys Nocera.

    "When you win you want to win properly and to lead every single day has been nice. I've not been in that position before, so to win in that way does make it extra special," said Reid.

    Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has had his three-match ban reduced to just one after his sending off against West Brom when he kicked the ball against Chris Brunt's head during a break in play.

    A statement from Chelsea read: "The standard sanction would have been a three-match suspension.

    "However, following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing earlier today, the club's claim that a three-match suspension is excessive was successful.

    "Fabregas will therefore now only miss our final game of the season against Sunderland on Sunday and will be available for selection from the start of the 2015/16 campaign."
