    Louis van Gaal

That's all we're getting from Louis van Gaal today. Here are the thoughts of BBC Sport's Simon Stone, who was there: "Louis van Gaal rarely disappoints in his media briefings and today was no exception.

"Whilst confirmation of David de Gea's continued absence was to be expected - and his rebuttal of Hristo Stoichkov's comments (Van Gaal explained he had got rid of the Bulgarian in 1998 when he was at Barcelona), there were enlightening points on Javier Hernandez and Andan Januzaj.

"The Mexican, who spent last season on loan at Real Madrid, has been told his role will be to act as back-up to Wayne Rooney this year.

"Meanwhile Januzaj, who has been the subject of interest from Sunderland and who didn't even make the bench for Saturday's win against Tottenham is, according to Van Gaal, 'not for sale'."
