The Spain international has been linked with a move to either Manchester United or Manchester City.
"Nobody knows at the moment if he will start. I won't make my decision based on the market," Enrique said.

Striker Edin Dzeko dismissed suggestions of a fall-out with Manchester City during his official unveiling at new club Roma.
The 29-year-old Bosnia-Herzegovina player completed a season-long loan move to the Italian club on Wednesday, with a view to a permanent transfer.
"I didn't have any problems with anyone," he said.
"City are a top club with lots of brilliant players in every position and I was also hampered by injury problems after getting off to a good start."
Undisputed women's world welterweight champion Cecilia Braekhus is set to feature on the undercard of the Wladimir Klitschko v Tyson Fury WBA and WBO world heavyweight titles clash in Dusseldorf on 24 October.

Jones died from an undiagnosed hereditary heart disease after collapsing during a match in May,
Lizzie, a professional singer, said: "It's fantastic for me, I'm so excited and happy to be able to do something for Danny and to say 'thank you' to the rugby league community and to everybody who has helped and supported me since Danny died."
Danny Jones died on 3 May after collapsing during a match against London Skolars. He won 12 Wales caps and scored over 1,000 points in 150 games over two spells with the West Yorkshire club.

Diamanti has been training with Watford for more than a week but his move, understood to be a season-long loan, from Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande is yet to be officially confirmed.

McClaren Jr collects A Level results

ITV Tyne Tees grabbed an interview with Newcastle manager Steve McClaren, who was one of many parents waiting for their children to collect their A Level results.
"Excellent day! From 8 o'clock this morning Josh knew where he was going so we're delighted. It's his first choice so we're pleased about that," he said.
"It's great coming down here and seeing all the other parents and the boys and the girls realising their dreams as well.

Former England bowler Steve Harmison has tipped Hampshire leg-spinner Mason Crane to be picked for England's series in Pakistan this winter.
The 18-year-old, already capped by England U19s, has taken 10 wickets in two first-class matches this summer.
"I think England have got to give serious consideration to taking Mason Crane to the UAE (United Arab Emirates) as third spinner," Harmison told BBC Radio 5 live.

"It's something I wanted to do from the start of the season." The words of Tour de France winner Chris Froome there, who has been speaking to BBC Sport in an exclusive interview about releasing more of his test data to quell suggestions of doping.
Froome told Dan Roan he wants to be a "spokesman for clean cycling" and that he wanted more physiological testing "so even I could understand what makes me who I am and what is about me that allows me to make the efforts I do".
Goalkeeper Jamie Langfield has signed a two-year player-coach contract with St Mirren.
The 35-year-old terminated his contract with Aberdeen this week and parted on good terms, saying he was looking for future management opportunities.

Manager Roberto Martinez also ruled out any sale for John Stones who has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United. Martinez is determined to keep the 21-year-old at Goodison Park.

Mourinho 'should apologise to doctor'

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho should apologise to team doctor Eva Carneiro for "publicly humiliating" her, says Liverpool's former head of medicine.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, Peter Brukner, now the Australia cricket team's doctor, said Mourinho's criticism was "100% wrong" and Carneiro should not have her role changed.
Carneiro, 41, treated Eden Hazard after he was tripped in the final minutes of Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Swansea as Jose Mourinho's side were trying to see out the game.
Brukner said: "He should apologise and the club should ensure that the doctor and physio are not demoted as a result of this."
Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has some positive news for fans.
His team travel to Aston Villa on Friday night, and the German said: "I'm getting better and I hope I will be 100% fit in the next week."
He also praised his team-mates for helping him settle in, telling the club's website: "They are helping me a lot and we do a lot of things together in our free time. My team-mates help me to choose restaurants, for example, and golf courses.
"But the most important thing is to be successful this season and to win the matches."

Some late Wednesday transfer news in case anyone missed it. Southampton have signed Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu for £5m on a three-year contract.
The 23-year-old Spaniard played 34 times for the Blues after joining the club from Barcelona in 2011.
Romeu has spent the past two seasons on loan, at German club Stuttgart and at Valencia in his homeland.
"From what I understand, the testing hasn't been at the level that it is in cycling," he told BBC Sport's Dan Roan.
"I believe some things have changed quite substantially [for cycling] since the dark ages of 10 to 15 years ago when the sport was really dirty.
"The testing has really evolved and the UCI has now implemented 24-hour testing. I have every confidence that the system now really works."

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique refused to disclose whether Pedro will start the Spanish Super Cup first-leg away to Athletic Bilbao on Friday and said that he would not be influenced by any transfer deal.
The Spain international has been linked with a move to either Manchester United or Manchester City.
"Nobody knows at the moment if he will start. I won't make my decision based on the market," Enrique said.
"He didn't start in Tbilisi because a few days before he had to stop training [with an injury] and it is an unusual and difficult situation."

Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood offered his thoughts on the quality of young English players at his news conference today.

Kyrgios fined for Wawrinka remark

Nick Kyrgios has been fined or an insulting mid-match comment he made about Stan Wawrinka's partner during their Rogers Cup match this week.
The French Open champion had called for authorities to take action over the remark, which Kyrgios said was uttered "in the heat of the moment".
The ATP said: "Nick Kyrgios has been fined for an insulting remark made to Stanislas Wawrinka during his second round match against Wawrinka at the Rogers Cup in Canada."
Details of the fine are not being made public until after Kyrgios has been notified.

England duo Karen Bardsley and Jill Scott have signed new two-year contracts with Manchester City Women.
The goalkeeper and midfielder's current deals run out at the end of this season but the extensions will see them stay at City until 2017.
This follows England captain Steph Houghton also signing a two-year contract extension with the club in May.

Crystal Palace forward Dwight Gayle has until the end of the week to decide whether he wants to join Bristol City, says Robins manager Steve Cotterill.
City have had an undisclosed bid accepted for the 24-year-old striker.
Cotterill said talks have been held with his advisors but he has yet to meet Gayle, who is also attracting the interest of several other clubs.
"We won't stay on it forever," he told BBC Bristol. "It's getting to a crunch time this week with that one."

"Whilst confirmation of David de Gea's continued absence was to be expected - and his rebuttal of Hristo Stoichkov's comments (Van Gaal explained he had got rid of the Bulgarian in 1998 when he was at Barcelona), there were enlightening points on Javier Hernandez and Andan Januzaj.
"The Mexican, who spent last season on loan at Real Madrid, has been told his role will be to act as back-up to Wayne Rooney this year.
"Meanwhile Januzaj, who has been the subject of interest from Sunderland and who didn't even make the bench for Saturday's win against Tottenham is, according to Van Gaal, 'not for sale'."

The widow of former Keighley Cougars and Wales international Danny Jones will sing Abide With Me prior to kick off of August's Challenge Cup final at Wembley.
Jones died from an undiagnosed hereditary heart disease after collapsing during a match in May,
Lizzie, a professional singer, said: "It's fantastic for me, I'm so excited and happy to be able to do something for Danny and to say 'thank you' to the rugby league community and to everybody who has helped and supported me since Danny died."
Danny Jones died on 3 May after collapsing during a match against London Skolars. He won 12 Wales caps and scored over 1,000 points in 150 games over two spells with the West Yorkshire club.

Watford head coach Quique Sanchez Flores believes new signing, forward Alessandro Diamanti, will inject pace into his Hornets attack, but says the Italian is unlikely to face West Brom on Saturday.
Diamanti has been training with Watford for more than a week but his move, understood to be a season-long loan, from Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande is yet to be officially confirmed.
The Italian scored eight goals for West Ham in 2009-10 and is set to become Watford's 11th signing of the summer.

Lions trio Mike Phillips, James Hook and Richard Hibbard have been dropped from Wales' World Cup squad by coach Warren Gatland.
Wales play Ireland in their next World Cup warm-up on 29 August.
"It's been a difficult task reducing the squad down and deciding who will meet up with us again on Monday (at the Wales Rugby Union national centre of excellence)," said Wales head coach Warren Gatland.
"All the players involved over the past eight weeks have put a huge amount of effort in. The intensity and dedication from the players out in Switzerland and Qatar has been really impressive.
"That makes our job a lot harder but as we continue to move into our rugby focused phase of training its important we reduce the squad number down.
"There will be disappointment from the players but its important to stress that the door is not closed. We name our final Rugby World Cup squad on 31 August and a lot can happen between now and then."

While praising the merits of a strong youth development strategy, he said: "If it [English talent] was better than the foreign talent, then we would have gone that route, but it's not. The value for money is on the foreign market.
"Some of these foreign boys we've gone for are better than the English ones. They have played a lot more games at a very young age.

Paul Aiton has played his last match for Leeds after Brian McDermott revealed the Catalans-bound hooker will be out for 16 weeks with a dislocated wrist.

Manchester City and Belgium defender Vincent Kompany has said compatriot Kevin De Bruyne would be a strong addition to the side if a deal materialises.
The Wolfsburg playmaker has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester, and Kompany said: "Let me put it this way, he is definitely not going to make the team weaker. He's a phenomenal player."

Former England bowler Steve Harmison has tipped Hampshire leg-spinner Mason Crane to be picked for England's series in Pakistan this winter.

Hodgson 'out if England fail at Euros'

The Guardian is just one of several papers covering the Roy Hodgson story this morning. FA chief executive Martin Glenn has reportedly said the England boss's role will be untenable if he fails to succeed at Euro 2016.
He added that the saga over Hodgson's contract talks - or lack of them - is a "storm in a tea cup" and that the 68-year-old would not expect a new deal for failing at a major tournament.

"It's something I wanted to do from the start of the season." The words of Tour de France winner Chris Froome there, who has been speaking to BBC Sport in an exclusive interview about releasing more of his test data to quell suggestions of doping.
Froome told Dan Roan he wants to be a "spokesman for clean cycling" and that he wanted more physiological testing "so even I could understand what makes me who I am and what is about me that allows me to make the efforts I do".

Langfield signs for St Mirren

Goalkeeper Jamie Langfield has signed a two-year player-coach contract with St Mirren.
The 35-year-old terminated his contract with Aberdeen this week and parted on good terms, saying he was looking for future management opportunities.
He told the Paisley club's website: "After leaving Aberdeen it's been great to get something tied up so quickly and to come to my hometown club is that bit special."
Watford wait on Diamanti

Everton will find out today the extent of the injury to left-back Leighton Baines after the England defender suffered a recurrence of an ankle problem.
The club are due to get scan results back on the injury that will reveal how long Baines will be ruled out for. He injured the same ankle at the end of last season and this could mean another lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Manager Roberto Martinez also ruled out any sale for John Stones who has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United. Martinez is determined to keep the 21-year-old at Goodison Park.
"I have said before the player is not for sale and that is the end of it," he said.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic says striker Diafra Sakho, who The Sun reported was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault, "looks happy and trained normally".
Bilic also admitted that there was a dispute with midfielder Morgan Amalfitano, but "the situation was not as bad as was written in the papers". However, he is not part of the first-team squad for the match against Leicester City on Saturday.
Shaqiri 'flying' fit - Hughes

Stoke manager Mark Hughes says club record signing Xherdan Shaqiri is "flying" fit but would not say whether the Swiss international will feature against Tottenham on Saturday.
And Shaqiri, who signed from Inter Milan for £12m this week, told the club's website: "I have done a lot of good quality work throughout the summer with my last team so I am feeling good and strong.
"The coach will make the final decision though, but first of all I need to meet my new team-mates and work with them in training. I can't wait to play and score goals for this club."

Reading have signed Peru international winger Paolo Hurtado from Portuguese club Pacos de Ferreira.
The 25-year-old has agreed a three-year deal at the Madejski Stadium, subject to receiving international clearance.
Mourinho 'should apologise to doctor'

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho should apologise to team doctor Eva Carneiro for "publicly humiliating" her, says Liverpool's former head of medicine.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, Peter Brukner, now the Australia cricket team's doctor, said Mourinho's criticism was "100% wrong" and Carneiro should not have her role changed.
Carneiro, 41, treated Eden Hazard after he was tripped in the final minutes of Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Swansea as Jose Mourinho's side were trying to see out the game.
Brukner said: "He should apologise and the club should ensure that the doctor and physio are not demoted as a result of this."

Schweinsteiger 'close to 100%'

Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has some positive news for fans.
His team travel to Aston Villa on Friday night, and the German said: "I'm getting better and I hope I will be 100% fit in the next week."
He also praised his team-mates for helping him settle in, telling the club's website: "They are helping me a lot and we do a lot of things together in our free time. My team-mates help me to choose restaurants, for example, and golf courses.
"But the most important thing is to be successful this season and to win the matches."
Southampton sign £5m Romeu

Some late Wednesday transfer news in case anyone missed it. Southampton have signed Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu for £5m on a three-year contract.
The 23-year-old Spaniard played 34 times for the Blues after joining the club from Barcelona in 2011.
Romeu has spent the past two seasons on loan, at German club Stuttgart and at Valencia in his homeland.
Athletics must follow cycling's lead - Froome

In an exclusive interview for the BBC, Tour de France winner Chris Froome has spoken out on the topic of doping within sport and why athletics - currently embroiled in its own scandals - should follow cycling by investing more money to tackle the problem.
"From what I understand, the testing hasn't been at the level that it is in cycling," he told BBC Sport's Dan Roan.
"I believe some things have changed quite substantially [for cycling] since the dark ages of 10 to 15 years ago when the sport was really dirty.
"The testing has really evolved and the UCI has now implemented 24-hour testing. I have every confidence that the system now really works."
