    BBC Scotland's David McDaid:  "Great Britain's paracanoeists have won a gold and a silver on day three of the Canoe Sprint World Championships in Milan.

    "Jeannette Chippington claimed the gold in the KL1 200m, while Robert Oliver took silver in the KL1.

    "That gives Team GB another two spots at next summer's Paralympics in Rio - taking their representation so far to four places.

    "It also means GB's disability athletes have won seven medals in Italy - two golds and five silvers."

    The Premier League has written to clubs this week to clarify the new interpretation of the offside law, external following Liverpool striker Christian Benteke's goal against Bournemouth on Monday night. 

    Philippe Coutinho appeared to be offside as he stretched for the ball from Jordan Henderson's cross, which was then turned in by Benteke.

    The Premier League said it does "not generally comment on decisions made by match officials" but the expected outcome of Monday's incident should have been an offside decision against Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.
