Speaking to 20 different BBC local stations in places such as Jersey, Newcastle and Scotland first thing on Thursday made the size and reach of Price of Football hit home.

One thing that stands out is the fact most of our audience are shocked by the complexity of ticket pricing. Senior rates, student rates, kids prices, early bird prices, different prices depending on the opponent, it’s tough to get your head around, even when you’ve stared at a spreadsheet for six weeks.

And of course, we encounter clubs defending their prices fiercely. One club were quick to tell me their pie price was up a bit because you get peas and gravy too. Another said their pie was made by an ‘artisan baker’.

Luke is one of the BBC Sport journalists who researched the study.

She withdrew from the tournament prior to a fourth-round match and pulled out of her comeback event at the China Open on 5 October because of dizziness.

The lawsuit alleges the 21-year-old world number 39 slipped on "a foreign and dangerous substance" in New York.
