Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois returned to training this week after a knee injury but Asmir Begovic will continue to deputise.
Defender Branislav Ivanovic looks set to be involved, having recovered from a hamstring injury.
Norwich winger Nathan Redmond is expected to be fit to face the Blues after a thigh strain.
Captain Russell Martin returns from a one-match ban but Matt Jarvis will miss out because of a knee problem.

A nice touch by Ruud van Nistelrooy as he posts a good luck message to Leicester City's Jamie Vardy.
Van Nistelrooy scored in 10 straight Premier League games in 2003, a record Vardy will equal if he scores at Newcastle on Saturday.

- He says he will have three assistants to him, with other position-specific coaches also involved.
- He says one of the fundamental parts of his role is to groom one of his assistants to take over from him in four years.
- He warned players he can be "an angel or a devil."
- He said all the players - including England captain Chris Robshaw - start on zero and must prove themselves.

Norwich manager Alex Neil has ruled out Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty being allowed to leave the club on loan until the New Year at the earliest.
The 26-year-old has only played two games for the Canaries this season and has been the subject of interest from Leeds United.
"We've got a lot of games coming up that are important. I'm happy with the size of squad I've got at the moment," he told BBC Radio Norfolk.

“Whether Messi plays or not, the best news is that he is fit again,” Barcelona manager Luis Enrique tells the media ahead of his sides' trip to Real Madrid on Saturday.
Messi has been out through injury since September.
"We feel good going into the Clásico because of our form and due to players coming back.
"It won't be decisive for the league title, but it is obvious we want to win."

Mark Footitt's former club Derbyshire deserve credit for his inclusion in England's squad to tour South Africa, says elite performance director Graeme Welch.
The left-armer took 76 Championship wickets in 2015 before leaving the county to join Surrey.
"Realistically, that is a feather in our cap more than Surrey's," Welch told BBC Radio Derby.
