Arsene Wenger says mathematically there are maybe 10 to 12 teams in the title race but "realistically" six.

"December is a very important moment for us," adds the Frenchman. "My phone is busy every day from people who propose players but we have a team inside our club who select what is coming in. The most important thing is to win football games."

On the latest Fifa crisis, he said: "It is a shock to me to discover what happens there.

“It is very difficult for people to swallow inside the game that we are governed by bodies that are not straight. You have to completely rebuild the organisation with people you can trust.”
