Jose Mourinho is asked about Sir Alex Ferguson's comments in the last 24 hours, where the former Reds manager publicly supported the Chelsea boss.
“I didn’t read Sir Alex Ferguson's comments," he says. "Some people told me about it and that is the difference between the friends and the fake friends and the ones that are not even fake friends – ones that immediately show feelings towards you.
"Sir Alex is my friend and they are nice words, he doesn’t say the words because he likes somebody, he is honest and I thank him.”
Aw, that's lovely isn't it.

It's been a while since Luis Suarez has been at the centre of footballing controversy, but the moment has cometh again.
This time, for a change, it's not his teeth in the spotlight, but his studs.
Valencia defender Aymen Abdennour posted the above pictures on his Instagram , externalaccount with the simple message #suarez after clashing with the Barcelona striker during a game at the weekend.

Russell Lambert: Qualified as a ref at 16, gave it up by 20. Final straw was a match where I had to give penalty to away team in first minute of both halves. Was surrounded by fully grown men, screaming at me. Fair play to those who stuck it out, but not for me.

Newcastle UnitedmidfielderGeorginio Wijnaldumno doubt thought he was doing Steve McClaren a favour when he blamed the club's poor form on himself and his team-mates. However, the Dutchman instead somehow ended up denigrating his manager.
"I don't think it's the fault of the trainer that we've performed badly," Wijnaldum said. "I think for this club, he's the best that we can get right now."
