    Jose Mourinho is asked about Sir Alex Ferguson's comments in the last 24 hours, where the former Reds manager publicly supported the Chelsea boss.

    “I didn’t read Sir Alex Ferguson's comments," he says. "Some people told me about it and that is the difference between the friends and the fake friends and the ones that are not even fake friends – ones that immediately show feelings towards you.

    "Sir Alex is my friend and they are nice words, he doesn’t say the words because he likes somebody, he is honest and I thank him.”

    Niall Gurhey: Qualified at 14, gave up at 21, became resigned to the fact kids mirror parent's abuse, and it is seen as amusing by all.

    Alex Haworth: Also qualified at 16, gave it up for a weekend job in a supermarket. Similar pay for longer retail hours but far less stress.

    Jack Connor: Some abuse is merited-I forgot to restart watch for 2nd half reffing at youth level. Coach comment - "that half went quickly"

    Russell Lambert: Qualified as a ref at 16, gave it up by 20. Final straw was a match where I had to give penalty to away team in first minute of both halves. Was surrounded by fully grown men, screaming at me. Fair play to those who stuck it out, but not for me.

    Lewis Dutton: Spent a few years refereeing youth football (under 9 to u15) - parents were the worst offenders for verbal abuse.

    "When Wenger decides to finish at Arsenal, I do not think we will ever see a manager stay at the club for so long again," said Ancelotti in an interview with the Independent.

    "They built a new stadium and Wenger did a fantastic job during that time in this sense. It is not all about the results, there are other things, and this is the right way."
