    Champions League draw

You scrape through your group, things are looking up and then you go and get Barcelona in the last-16.

History is not on Arsene Wenger's side..

The teams last met at the same stage in 2011 where Arsenal lost 4-3 on aggregate - thought that did include a 2-1 home win.

Then there was the quarter-finals in 2010 when Barcelona triumphed 6-3 on aggregate thanks to a four-goal show from Lionel Messi at the Nou Camp.

And who can forget the 2006, the only time Arsenal have reached the final of the competition, only to lose 2-1 to a Juliano Belletti 80th minute winner.

Bad news for Manchester City fans ahead of their last 16 trip to Kiev, confirmed by Guardian writer Daniel Taylor.

Dynamo Kiev have to play their next European game behind closed doors following racist behaviour and crowd disturbances during their game against Chelsea in October.

Chelseawill, of course, be out for revenge when they take onParis St-Germainin the last 16.

It was PSG whoknocked Jose Mourinho's men outof last season's Champions League, drawing 2-2 at Stamford Bridge and winning on away goals after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

The game at Chelsea was lively to say the least, Zlatan Ibrahimovic claiming the Blues' players acted like "babies" during the incident that led to the PSG striker's red card early in the game.

Despite that, PSG survived the last hour of normal time and extra time to knock Chelsea out.

So then, what do you make of that?

The headlines news is undoubtedly Arsenal's bad luck, pulling the mighty Barcelona out of the hat (well, technically it was a big glass ball, not a hat, but you get our drift).

Chelsea face a tough task against PSG, but Manchester City are surely happy with Kiev?

There's also a very tasty looking tie between Juventus and Bayern Munich.

Helping Infantino is the man who does not age, Inter Milan legendJavier Zanetti.

Zanetti played over 600 times for Inter and won the Champions League in 2010.

He is 42 but there is not one grey hair on that wonderful head of his, how does he do it? Whatever it is, he should bottle it and sell it.

Inter Milan's home the San Siro is hosting the final by the way.

It's a weird venue that this draw is taking place in.

It looks a little like a university lecture hall. It wouldn't be a surprise if a bloke in a brown cardigan walks on to give a talk about metaphysics.

All the guests and dignitaries are sat in very comfy looking red leather chairs. A couple look slightly bored already,

Oddly, Mr Infantino, as part of his opening pre-amble, launches into a tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo.

“The forthcoming knockout phrase promises to provide it’s fair share of thrills and surprises,” he goes on to say.

Well, unless they're all goalless draws, obviously.

    Aw, this is lovely.

Mr Infantino has just wished everyone a happy Christmas and all the best for the festive season.

He'll be offering mulled wine and mince pies all round in a minute.

There is only one man that can cope with the pressure of the Champions League draw and that man is Gianni Infantino.

You know the bald guy who does all the European draws and who recently threw his hat in the ring for the Fifa presidency.

He walks on stage to a round of applause..

"Thanks to my cousin who started the applause," says Infantino.

    He is on fire already.
