Over at White Hart Lane, Harry Kane's controversial late penalty kept Tottenham in the Cup as the striker's equaliser earned a third-round replay against Leicester.
Kane scored from the spot after Nathan Dyer had been penalised for handball, to the visitors' anger.
It's fair to say BBC pundits Alan Shearer and Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill didn't agree with the decision..
"I think that's a very poor decision - it's not a penalty at all," said Shearer, while O'Neill added: "I agree with Alan, it's a very harsh penalty - Nathan Dyer has just turned round and doesn't know where the ball is. Doesn't it have to be deliberate?"

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has warned Pep Guardiola that the biggest challenge he will face in the Premier League is the busy fixture schedule.
Guardiola, 44, who will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, has said he plans to work in England next.
Klopp, 48, said that the number of domestic cup games had surprised him.
"When I came here, I didn't know there were two rounds [legs] in the semi-final of the Capital One Cup," said the former Borussia Dortmund manager.
