Sean O'Connor: David Weir has to be in with a shout. Came to Rangers and steadied the ship before becoming captain and winning everything.

Martin Jarvis: Reading's 2012 signing of Jason Roberts was absolutely crucial to winning the Championship that season.

Tony Eaton: Christophe Dugarry best January signing for Birmingham City. Kept us in the Premiership while looking like your local hobo.

Matt: Nacho Monreal. Had a hard time settling in at Arsenal, but has become one of the best left-backs in Europe.

Guus Hiddink has been speaking about striker Alexandre Pato's impending move to Chelsea. The Brazilian striker is currently in the process of "bureaucratic paperwork" and that it is "not a big gamble" because it will be a loan deal.

The manager also disclosed that Juan Cuadrado is unlikely to complete a permanent move to Juventus this month, after spending the first half of the season on loan in Turin. "That is not in this moment and one for the upcoming months," Hiddink said.

Despite Chelsea's faltering form this season, manager Guus Hiddink said they still believe they can win the FA Cup.

"The club must always go for the title, we are not here to pass the time. We aim the group on targets, and the FA Cup is of course a target. It would be a huge achievement because it is not an undervalued cup in England or worldwide."

Leicester have done some decent business in January...

Tom: The best bit of January business for Leicester City was Riyad Mahrez for approximately £400,000.

Alex Winterton: Robert Huth on loan from Jan saved Leicester's season last year. Solid in defence and made Morgan a better player and captain.

Manchester City news conferencepublished at 13:16 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2016

Aston Villa v Manchester City (Sat, 15:00 GMT)

    Liam Bradford
    BBC Radio Manchester

Manuel Pellegrini refused to be drawn on City's chances of winning four trophies this season, but the potential of that historic feat must loom large on the horizon. "That's not a realistic target," the Chilean said. "We have to look at Aston Villa. If we don't beat them it is all over."

The major obstacle standing between CIty and winning the League, Champions League, League Cup and FA Cup might be that growing injury list.

After the FA Cup fourth-round meeting with Villa, Manuel Pellegrini is expecting a quiet couple of days. No transfer business is likely.

"It's not our intention to bring anyone in. I trust in my squad and I am sure we will be competitive," he said."

One final in the bag, challenging for the Premier League title and a winnable Champions League last 16 tie against Dynamo Kiev.

No side has ever won the quadruple - and manager Manuel Pellegrini thinks it is impossible - but if Manchester City can win at Aston Villa tomorrow, the Blues will start to fancy themselves of going one better than Manchester United managed in 1999 - and wouldn't they just love that.

Matthew Knights: EmmanuelAdebayor for Crystal Palace this year, as I don't think we've signed anyone else noteworthy.

Anthony Hobson: After consideration of Coutinho, Sturridge, Mascherano & Kromkamp (!), best LFC January signing is no doubt Suarez.

Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra signed for Manchester United for £7m and £5m respectively in January 2006.

Over the next decade the pair were the foundations for United's success as they won five Premier League titles and the Champions League. Not a bad bit of business by Sir Alex Ferguson.

In honour of the 10th anniversary of those signings and the retirement of Vidic, we are asking:
