Ronnie O'Sullivan tells BBC Wales: "Yu De lu is a brilliant player so I was a bit nervous at the start, I maybe was giving him a little bit too much respect. I lost the first frame but got some momentum going after.

I am pleased to still be in the tournament. John Higgins, the second greatest player I have ever seen, has been beaten. No matches are a gimme, it takes a top player to have a slightly off day and you are going out.

"Michael White is an amazing player, this kid has everything and Wales will have another world champion soon. He is fearless and plays everyone the same, that is a gift."
