A man who has been described as having the "greatest fears" of snakes, decided to stick his head into a box full of the reptiles. What happened next?

Seemingly not knowing they are dangerous, former Australia cricketer Shane Warne was attacked by one, suffering a snake bite to the head.

The NZ Herald reported, external that Warne received treatment from medics on the strike area and though he has some small marks from the bite, there will be no permanent scarring.

The incident happened in a promo clip for a TV show. I doubt they'll air that episode.

    Reporter, BBC Radio Merseyside Sport

Roberto Martinez doesn't accept that Everton need to win the FA Cup to save their season, but he accepts that his team need to find a way of winning matches that they dominate.

The contrast in the team's form at home and away couldn't be more stark. Last Saturday's home defeat by West Brom was the sixth time they've lost at Goodison in the Premier League. Away from home they've only lost at Arsenal in the league and Manchester City in the League cup.

New signing Oumar Niasse has had surgery on his hand recently and isn't guaranteed to make the squad. He'll be assessed in the next 48 hours.

And finally from Roberto Martinez, who is clearly prioritising the Premier League over the FA Cup.

"We need to look at the league first, we have 36 points to fight for and we are not far from the European places, that is what we are going to fight for," he said.

"We just ant to enjoy the tie against Bournemouth. The disappointment from the league game [Everton led before drawing 3-3] was that we didn't hold on to victory."

There were boos at the final whistle at Goodison Park when Everton were beaten by West Brom on Saturday and the crowd showed their discontent after boss Roberto Martinez decided to take off Aaron Lennon.

"We have a really strong squad an have to use fresh legs," the manager said. "I understand the reaction from the crowd because we all in the same boat, we want to win. The team shares a fantastic attitude."

And what of winger Kevin Mirallas, who hasn't had a run in the team this season. "You don't want players off the pitch being happy. We have a competitive squad and Kevin has been training well and he has shown good attitude to be in the first-time line-up."

Everton have lost six games at Goodison Park in the league this season, so it's just as well they are away in the FA Cup this weekend.

"I have seen a real consistent performance in our play this season, you can see that in our away form," said boss Roberto Martinez.

"We have a challenge at home and the next five in the league need to reflect being in an advantageous position. Some of the defeats we cannot explain. the performances were dominant but we didn't get the rewards."

Reports suggest, external the Goodison club are lining up Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic to replace Tim Howard.

"Nothing to comment on that," said Martinez. "We have been working for two thirds of the season so there is no point talking about other players.

"There is nothing to comment on TIm Howard, he is a foreign player who has brought so much to the league. The 10 seasons he has had is an incredible contribution."

Not many people are picking up on this, but Luis Suarez missing a penalty for Barcelona against Sporting Gijon on Wednesday puts some perspective on the Cruyff-style cheeky routine at the weekend.

The stats are amazing: of the 15 penalties Barcelona have tried to hit the "correct" way this season, they have missed seven of them. It kind of justifies the need to try something different.

Doesn't look quite as "disrespectful" now, does it?
