The game with the Irish will be England's first at home in this season's Six Nations and will be their toughest test under Eddie Jones' command after relatively straightforward wins over Scotland and Italy.

"There were some tight calls on selection," Jones said. "We’re determined to put in a strong performance against a clever Irish side who are the benchmark of European rugby.”

Saracens' Mako Vunipola drops to the bench, while Wasps' Joe Launchbury misses out through injury as Eddie Jones makes two changes to the 15 that started the 40-9 win against Italy.

Wasps centre Elliot Daly is included as a replacement for the first time and Northampton Saints' Courtney Lawes also makes the bench.

Saracens second row Maro Itoje and Harlequins loose-head Joe Marler have been included in Eddie Jones' side to face Ireland on Saturday.
