A reminder that the live sporting action gets underway this evening on television when Reading host Crystal Palace in the FA Cup quarter-finals live on BBC One and BBC Radio 5 live.

There will also be live coverage of Saturday's game between Everton and Chelsea on BBC One from 17:20 GMT.

There is also plenty of rugby union action with England v Wales live on BBC Radio 5 Live on Saturday.

IAAF president Sebastian Coe says the sport's governing body has identified five countries that are in critical care regarding their drug-testing systems.

"Ethiopia and Morocco - as a matter of urgency - need a robust testing programme put in place," Coe said. 

"Kenya, Ukraine and Belarus need to get compliant by the end of the year." 

He added that the countries face no immediate sanctions and none of them is in any immediate danger of being banned from athletics or missing the Olympics.

Jason Puncheon returns for Crystal Palace after six games out with a hamstring injury, while goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey is also fit again.

However, Connor Wickham has been ruled out of the next two games and Marouane Chamakh has suffered a knee injury.

Manager Alan Pardew returns to the club he left in 2003 in order to join West Ham and is not expecting a great reception

"I've never had a great reception but that's pretty understandable, the way I left," he says. "I had a great period of my career there but I didn't leave in the best circumstances, but I've seen [Reading chairman] John Madejski and the board and shook hands and put it behind us."

Reading will have Paul McShane and Hal Robson-Kanu back from injury for Friday night's FA Cup quarter-final against Crystal Palace, which is live on BBC One and BBC Radio 5 live. 

But their Cup top scorer Matej Vydra is doubtful with a hamstring problem while the Royals will be without cup-tied pair George Evans and Yann Kermorgant.

Reading manager Brian McDermott: "It would be fantastic to be able to walk out at Wembley, and that's what it's about.

"The FA Cup means an awful lot to this football club - to the fans, the players and the owners."

Items include his one-of-a-kind replica Jules Rimet trophy which commemorated his third World Cup win and one of his famous No.10 Brazil shirts, which was worn between 1970 and 1971.

All of the items will go up for auction across three days by Julien's Auctions in London, between 7-9 June.

Some of the proceeds will go to a children's hospital in Brazil.

Chelsea interim boss Guus Hiddink has "concerns" about Eden Hazard's fitness and form but says the midfielder wants to play in Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final at Everton. 

Hazard was booed as he was substituted with a hip and groin problem during Wednesday night's Champions League exit to Paris St Germain, when his half-time shirt swap with Angel Di Maria angered fans. His father later claimed that he has had the injury for up to four months but has had to play on,

"His father made a fair judgement. He is not absent of injury," Hiddink said. "What is an injury? You can have an injury where you cannot play, or where you can play when you are not fully fit.

"I have my concerns about him as well: whether he should play, when he's not top, top fit, an hour at full intensity or another part of the game [as a substitute]. We're trying to help him. 

 "He will be available [against Everton]. He's desperate to participate in a team performance."

Connacht prop Finlay Bealham is in line for his Ireland debut after Cian Healy was ruled out of Saturday's Six Nations clash with Italy through injury. 

The uncapped Bealham steps onto the bench in place of Leinster front-rower Healy as Ireland chase their first win of the tournament at the fourth time of asking. 

Trainer Jim Best and jockey Paul John have both been found guilty of breaching the Rules regarding the running and riding of two horses in December of last year. 

Best and his former conditional rider John faced the British Horseracing Authority's disciplinary panel over the performances of Echo Brava at Plumpton on 14 December and Missile Man at Towcester on 17 December. 

Best has been found guilty of failing in his "duty to secure the best possible placing" on two occasions as well as "conduct prejudicial to horseracing in Great Britain" while John has been found guilty of two counts of failing to run a horse on its merits. 

A decision on penalties will be made later.

The World Anti-Doping Agency has told Associated Press that there have been 99 positive tests this year for Meldonium, the drug found in Maria Sharapova's sample at the Australian Open. 

WADA spokesman Ben Nichols said that since the drug was banned on 1 January, "there have been 99 adverse analytical findings for Meldonium recorded."

Nichols did not provide details of who has tested positive. Seven of the 16 confirmed cases came from Russian athletes, including Sharapova.

Racquet manufacturer Head has questioned the decision to ban the use of meldonium as they continue to stand by Maria Sharapova.

Sharapova tested positive for the drug which the World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) added to their list of banned substances on 1 January.

Head wants Wada to scientifically prove why the drug should be banned and believe the drug should not be prohibited but instead come with a dosage limit.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been asked about the situation at Newcastle, where Rafael Benitez has replaced Steve McClaren as boss.

"It is a sad sign for Steve McClaren, but Rafael Benitez is a top-class manager," says Wenger, who has also given an update on the condition of injured midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

"At the moment his clinical signs are quite positive," adds Wenger. "You would say (he is out for) four weeks and that is a bit worse than I originally thought. When a player usually gets injured he stops dead, so I thought it was just a precaution."

Stoke manager Mark Hughes believes Rafa Benitez can make an impact at Newcastle as they try to get away from the relegation zone but it is unchartered territory for the Spaniard.

"He's got a great CV but it's another string to his bow as he's not been involved in a relegation struggle before," he said.

But Hughes hopes that the confidence surrounding his own side can help them build on last week's draw against Chelsea.

"Tomorrow's game is likely to attract our highest league attendance," the Welshman added. "That tells you how everybody is feeling here at the moment."

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes was asked about the managerial upheaval at Newcastle, which has seen Steve McClaren sacked and Rafa Benitez taking over, when he faced the media on Friday afternoon ahead of Saturday's Premier League game against Southampton.

"It's disappointing when someone leaves their job. The time he had there was close to the average for a Premier League manager, which is crazy," says the Welshman, who has been in his role since 2013. 

"Thankfully we have longevity here and I think we are reaping the benefits of it."

Of the current crop of Premier League managers, only Arsene Wenger (Arsenal) and Eddie Howe (Bournemouth) have been in their roles longer.

Jonny Bairstow believes England have the players and the skills to win the World T20 in India.

Test wicket-keeper Bairstow, 26, currently in New York to watch the first-ever overseas Premiership rugby union match, feels his limited-overs team-mates have "every chance".

"If you look at the side, the talent we've got, there's match-winners all the way through," he told BBC Sport.

"It's going to be a tough challenge on the sub-continent pitches, but there's no reason why we can't put those skills together after performing so well in the UAE against Pakistan."
